     Margaret Bruce Dundas was the daughter of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Lady Janet Maitland.² She married Alexander Gibson, son of John Gibson and Helen Carmichael, on 19 October 1770.¹ She died on 22 December 1774.¹
     From 19 October 1770, her married name became Gibson.¹

     Mary Elizabeth Heygate is the daughter of William Edward Heygate and Maria Elizabeth Penny.¹ She married William Noel Waller.¹
     Her married name became Waller.

     William Noel Waller married Mary Elizabeth Heygate, daughter of William Edward Heygate and Maria Elizabeth Penny.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Launcelot Heygate is the son of William Edward Heygate and Maria Elizabeth Penny.¹

     Eleanor Margaret Gibson-Carmichael was the daughter of Sir John Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 6th Bt. and Janet Hyndford Elliot.² She married Alexander Begbie in 1828.¹ She died on 5 December 1883, without issue.¹
     From 1828, her married name became Begbie.

     Alexander Begbie married Eleanor Margaret Gibson-Carmichael, daughter of Sir John Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 6th Bt. and Janet Hyndford Elliot, in 1828.¹ He died on 18 June 1860.¹

     Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt. was born on 21 December 1774.¹ He was the son of Alexander Gibson and Margaret Bruce Dundas.² He married, firstly, Janet Maitland Dundas, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Eleanora Elizabeth Home, on 7 February 1806.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Anne Napier, daughter of Francis Napier, 8th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Maria Margaret Clavering, on 8 June 1816.¹ He was also reported to have been married on 13 June 1816.² He died on 13 December 1849 at age 74.¹
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 5 November 1803.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the 58th Foot.¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1823.¹

     Maj.-Gen. Thomas Dundas of Fingask was born on 30 June 1750.² He was the son of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Lady Janet Maitland.² He married Eleanora Elizabeth Home, daughter of Reverend Alexander Home, 9th Earl of Home and Primrose Elphinstone, on 9 January 1784.² He died on 3 June 1794 at age 43 at Guadeloupe^G, from yellow fever.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Orkney and Shetland between 1771 and 1784.² He fought in the American War of Independence between 1779 and 1781, where he surrendered Yorktown.² He gained the rank of Major-General in the 80th Regiment.² He lived at Carron Hall, Larbert, Stirlingshire, Scotland.² He fought in the Capture of Guadeloupe, Martinque and St. Lucia in 1794, from the French.²

     Janet Maitland Dundas was born on 23 July 1787.² She was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Eleanora Elizabeth Home.^3,2 She was baptised on 16 August 1787 at Larbert, Stirlingshire, Scotland^G.² She married Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt., son of Alexander Gibson and Margaret Bruce Dundas, on 7 February 1806.¹ She died on 7 June 1814 at age 26.¹
     From 7 February 1806, her married name became Gibson-Carmichael.¹

     Sir Alexander Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 8th Bt. was born on 6 June 1812.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt. and Janet Maitland Dundas.² He was baptised on 14 July 1812 at Kirkurd, Peebles-shire, Scotland^G.³ He died on 8 May 1850 at age 37, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 13 December 1849.¹
