     Joanna Charlotte Gibson-Carmichael was baptised on 21 June 1813 at Kirkurd, Peebles-shire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt. and Janet Maitland Dundas.¹ She died on 21 November 1821 at age 8.¹

     Elisabeth Ellen Gibson-Carmichael was born on 15 May 1814.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt. and Janet Maitland Dundas.¹ She was baptised on 10 June 1814 at Kirkurd, Peebles-shire, Scotland^G.¹ She died on 20 May 1815 at age 1.¹

     Frances Napier Gibson-Carmichael was baptised on 29 December 1820 at Kirkurd, Peebles-shire, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Gibson-Carmichael of Skirling, 7th Bt. and Hon. Anne Napier.¹ She died in 1852.¹

     Mary Anna Kinloch was born on 27 September 1857 at Athelstaneford, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Alexander Kinloch of Gilmerton, 10th Bt. and Lucy Charlotte Anstruther.¹ She married Lothar Henry George de Bunsen on 6 January 1887.² She died on 25 February 1898 at age 40.²
     From 6 January 1887, her married name became de Bunsen.

     Chrétien Wehren lived at Switzerland^G.¹

     Marie Elise Wehren was the daughter of Chrétien Wehren.² She married Maurice Cely Maude, son of Rev. Hon. John Charles Maude and Mary Cely Trevilian, on 18 May 1860.¹ She died on 4 November 1895.¹
     From 18 May 1860, her married name became Maude.

     Eleanor Janet Kinloch was born on 3 August 1832 at Athelstaneford, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir David Kinloch of Gilmerton, 9th Bt. and Eleanor Hyndford Gibson-Carmichael.¹ She died on 13 August 1900 at age 68, unmarried.²

     Harriet Kinloch was born on 18 September 1833 at Athelstaneford, East Lothian, Scotland^G.¹ She was the daughter of Sir David Kinloch of Gilmerton, 9th Bt. and Eleanor Hyndford Gibson-Carmichael.¹ She married Admiral Sir Henry Fairfax, son of Sir Henry Fairfax, 1st Bt. and Archibald Montgomerie Williamson, on 25 April 1872.² She died on 17 September 1925 at age 91, without issue.²
     From 25 April 1872, her married name became Fairfax.³
