     Helen Gibson of Pentland was born on 12 May 1775.² She was the daughter of Sir John Gibson of Pentland, 4th Bt. and Henrietta Watson.³ She was baptised on 29 May 1775 at Corstorphine, Midlothian, Scotland.² She married, firstly, Dewar Masterton.¹ She married, secondly, Captain John Barr.¹ She married, thirdly, Maj.-Gen. David Anderson-Gibson.¹
     Her married name became Barr.¹ Her married name became Anderson-Gibson.¹ Her married name became Masterton.

     Dewar Masterton married Helen Gibson of Pentland, daughter of Sir John Gibson of Pentland, 4th Bt. and Henrietta Watson.¹ He died, without issue.¹

     Sir Robert Gibson of Pentland, 5th Bt. was the son of John Gibson.² He died in 1796 at America^G, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gibson, of Keirhill, Midlothian [N.S., 1702] on 29 March 1781.¹

     Alexander Gibson of Durie was the son of Sir Alexander Gibson of Pentland and Helen Fleming.² He married, firstly, Elizabeth Foulis, daughter of Sir John Foulis of Ravelston, 1st Bt..¹ He married, secondly, Elizabeth Stewart.² He died on 1 March 1729.²
     He purchased Durie from Sir John Gibson of Pentland.¹

     Robert Alexander lived at Burghclere, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Foulis is the daughter of Sir John Foulis of Ravelston, 1st Bt.² She married Alexander Gibson of Durie, son of Sir Alexander Gibson of Pentland and Helen Fleming.¹
     Her married name became Gibson.

     Caroline Matilda Ward was the daughter of Reverend Hon. Henry Ward and Anne Mahon.¹ She married Hon. Sir Francis John Pakenham, son of Thomas Pakenham, 2nd Earl of Longford and Lady Georgiana Emma Charlotte Lygon, on 29 July 1879.¹ She died on 25 June 1938.¹
     From 29 July 1879, her married name became Pakenham.¹

     Hon. Sir Francis John Pakenham was born on 29 February 1832.¹ He was the son of Thomas Pakenham, 2nd Earl of Longford and Lady Georgiana Emma Charlotte Lygon.¹ He married Caroline Matilda Ward, daughter of Reverend Hon. Henry Ward and Anne Mahon, on 29 July 1879.¹ He died on 29 January 1905 at age 72, without issue.¹
     He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Sweden and Norway between 1895 and 1901.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹

     Alexander Gibson was the son of John Gibson and Helen Carmichael.² He married Margaret Bruce Dundas, daughter of Thomas Dundas of Fingask and Lady Janet Maitland, on 19 October 1770.¹ He died on 13 May 1785.¹
     He lived at Durie, Fife, Scotland^G.¹

     Benjamin Waddington lived at Llanover, Monmouthshire, Wales^G.²
