     Kenneth ‘na cuire’ Mackenzie, 10th of Kintail was the son of John Mackenzie, 9th of Kintail and Elizabeth Grant.2 He married Lady Elizabeth Stewart, daughter of John Stewart, 2nd Earl of Atholl and Lady Janet Campbell.2 He died on 6 June 1568.1 He was also reported to have died on 6 June 1561.2
     Kenneth ‘na cuire’ Mackenzie, 10th of Kintail also went by the nick-name of ‘na Cuirc’ (or in English, ‘of the whittle.2‘) He had four other daughters.2

     Janet Fraser is the daughter of James Fraser of Ardachy.2 She married, firstly, John Glassich Mackenzie, 2nd of Gairloch, son of Hector Roy Mackenzie, 1st of Gairloch and Anne Macdonald.1 She married, secondly, Thomas Chisholm, The Chisholm, son of Alexander Chisholm, The Chisholm and Janet Mackenzie, in 1578.1
     Her married name became Mackenzie.1 From 1578, her married name became Chisholm.
