Archibald Campbell, 2nd Earl of Argyll1

He succeeded as the 3rd Lord Campbell [S., 1445] on 10 May 1493.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Lorne [S., 1470] on 10 May 1493.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Argyll [S., 1457] on 10 May 1493.2 He held the office of Master of the Household to King James IV in March 1494/95.2 He held the office of Lieutenant-General of the Isles in 1500.2 He fought in the Battle of Flodden on 9 September 1513, where he commanded the right wing of the army, along with his brother-in-law, the Earl of Lennox.3

John Stuart, 1st Earl of Lennox1 
He was created 1st Lord of Darnley [Scotland] circa 1460.4 In 1473 he was retoured heir to the Earldom of lennox, but only became so effectively after compensating the coheirs in 1488.4 He was created 1st Earl of Lennox [Scotland] on 6 August 1473.1 He held the office of Lord Warden of the West March in 1481.4 In 1482 he was one of the lords who seized King James III, but was pardoned.4 He held the office of Keeper of Dumbarton Castle in 1488, jointly.4 In 1489 he rebelled but was defeated by King James IV.4

John Stewart, 3rd Earl of Atholl1 
He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Atholl [S., c. 1457] in 1521.1 On 3 May 1522 he was enfeoffed.1 He claimed half the Barony of Rattray in his first wife’s right (although it had long been a male fief), and whose father had already seized upon the greater part of the Rattray lands by force.2 In 1529 he entertained King James V of Scotland, the Pope nuncio, and various others.1
