     He was educated at Canford School, Wimborne, Dorset, England^G.² He was (an unknown value) at Faraday House Engineering College, England^G.² He gained the rank of Second World War in the where he became a POW in 1942.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve.² He graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)² He was registered as a Member, Institution of Electrical Engineers (M.I.E.E.)² He was registered as a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng.)² He was chairman of the North-East Region Royal Scottish Forestry Society between 1961 and 1967.² He lived in 2003 at Mains of Coull, Aboyne, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.²

     Catherine Jane Lilburn was born on 18 July 1953.² She is the daughter of Alistair James Lilburn and Joan Elizabeth Sutherland.² She married Peter Thomas Lydston Newman, son of Thomas Lydston Newman and Helen Young, on 19 September 1981.²
     From 19 September 1981, her married name became Newman. She lived in 2003 at Coryton Manor, Okehampton, Devon, England.²

     Rupert Thomas Lydston Newman was born on 10 April 1984.² He is the son of Peter Thomas Lydston Newman and Catherine Jane Lilburn.²

     William Alistair Newman was born on 2 October 1988.² He is the son of Peter Thomas Lydston Newman and Catherine Jane Lilburn.²

     Priscilla Helen Newman was born on 1 April 1939.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Lydston Newman and Helen Young.² She married Charles Granville Stuart-Menteth, son of Sir William Frederick Stuart-Menteth of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Winifred Melville Francis, on 12 June 1963.¹
     From 12 June 1963, her married name became Stuart-Menteth. She lived in 2003 at Woodchester House, Woodchester, Gloucestershire, England.¹

     Sir William Frederick Stuart-Menteth of Closeburn, 5th Bt. was born on 18 June 1874.² He is the son of Sir James Frederick Stuart-Menteth of Closeburn, 4th Bt. and Frances Octavia Moore Sleigh.² He married Winifred Melville Francis, daughter of Daniel Francis and Elizabeth Watkins, on 14 November 1921.² He died on 20 February 1952 at age 77.²
     He was admitted to Royal Company of Archers.² He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Stuart-Menteth, of Closeburn, co. Dumfries and Mansfield, co. Ayr [U.K., 1838] on 7 September 1926.²

     Charles Granville Stuart-Menteth was born on 6 July 1928.² He is the son of Sir William Frederick Stuart-Menteth of Closeburn, 5th Bt. and Winifred Melville Francis.² He married Priscilla Helen Newman, daughter of Thomas Lydston Newman and Helen Young, on 12 June 1963.¹
     He was educated at Glenalmond College, Glenalmond, Perthshire, Scotland.² He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.² He graduated from Worcester College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He lived in 2003 at Woodchester House, Stroud, Gloucestershire, England.²

     Elizabeth Clare Newman was born on 19 July 1941.¹ She is the daughter of Thomas Lydston Newman and Helen Young.² She married Robert Myles Randal MacDonnell, son of Edward Geoffrey Randal MacDonnell, on 18 April 1964.¹
     From 18 April 1964, her married name became MacDonnell. She lived in 2003 at 17 Malbrook Road, London, England.¹

     Edward Sulyard was born in 1461.¹ He was the son of Sir John Sulyard and Agnes Hungate.¹ He married, firstly, Mirabel Copdowe in 1475.¹ He married, secondly, Anne Norris in 1499.¹ He died in 1516.¹
