Peerage Record – 1794

     Lady Katherine Grey Egerton was the daughter of Thomas Grosvenor Egerton, 2nd Earl of Wilton of Wilton Castle and Lady Mary Margaret Stanley.^1,2 She married Hon. Henry John Coke, son of Thomas William Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Lady Anne Amelia Keppel, on 22 July 1861.¹ She died on 28 January 1920.¹
     Her married name became Coke. She held the office of Woman of the Bedchamber to Queen Mary.¹

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Wenman Clarence Walpole Coke was born on 13 July 1828.¹ He was the son of Thomas William Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Lady Anne Amelia Keppel.¹ He died on 10 January 1907 at age 78, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He was awarded the Knight, Order of the Medjidie.¹ He was awarded the Order of Valour of Sardinia.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for East Norfolk between 1858 and 1865.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Scots Guards.¹ Apparently Coke’s Hartebeest (an East African antelope) was named after him.²

     Lady Margaret Sophia Coke was born circa 1829. She was the daughter of Thomas William Coke, 1st Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Lady Anne Amelia Keppel.^1,2 She married Sir Archibald Keppel Macdonald, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Macdonald, 2nd Bt. and Lady Sophia Keppel, on 1 May 1849.¹ She died on 4 November 1868, without issue.¹
     Her married name became Macdonald.

     Katherine Mackenzie was the daughter of Kenneth ‘na cuire’ Mackenzie, 10th of Kintail and Lady Elizabeth Stewart.¹ She married Alexander Ross, 9th of Balnagowan, son of Walter Ross of Balnagowan and Marion Grant.¹ She died on 12 April 1592.¹
     Her married name became Ross.¹

     John Ogilvy Vincent was born on 24 March 1911. He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Sir Berkeley Vincent and Lady Kitty Edith Blanche Ogilvy. He died on 1 May 1914 at age 3.

     Timothy Mark Hope-Cobbold was born in 1976.¹ He is the son of Major Philip William Hope-Cobbold and Antonia Jay Hutton-Potts.¹ He married Talia Sonia Carleton Paget, daughter of David Derek Byng Carleton Paget and Clarissa Hammond-Maude, in 2009.²
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹

     Charles Adolphus Murray, 7th Earl of Dunmore was born on 24 March 1841.¹ He was the son of Alexander Edward Murray, 6th Earl of Dunmore and Lady Catherine Herbert.¹ He married Lady Gertrude Coke, daughter of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Juliana Whitbread, on 5 April 1866.¹ He died on 27 August 1907 at age 66.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Dunmore, in the Forest of Atholl, co. Perth [U.K., 1831] on 15 July 1845.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Lord Murray of Blair, Moulin and Tillemot [S., 1686] on 15 July 1845.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Earl of Dunmore [S., 1686] on 15 July 1845.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Viscount of Fincastle [S., 1686] on 15 July 1845.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Scots Fusilier Guards.¹ He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting between 1874 and 1880.¹ He was awarded the Royal Officers’ Decoration (V.D.)¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Inverness-shire.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 1st Volunteer Battalion, Cameron Highlanders.¹ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Stirlingshire.¹

     Robert Bermingham Clements, 4th Earl of Leitrim was born on 5 March 1847.¹ He was the son of Rev. Hon. Francis Nathanial Clements and Charlotte King.¹ He married Lady Winifred Coke, daughter of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Juliana Whitbread, on 2 September 1873 at Walsingham, Norfolk, England.^1,2 He died on 5 April 1892 at age 45.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Clements of Kilmacrenan, co. Donegal [U.K., 1831] on 2 April 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Leitrim [I., 1793] on 2 April 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Leitrim [I., 1795] on 2 April 1878.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Leitrim, of Manor Hamilton, co. Leitrim [I., 1783] on 2 April 1878.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)³

     Henry Strutt, 2nd Baron Belper was born on 20 May 1840 at St. Helen’s House, Derby, Derbyshire, England^G.^1,2 He was the son of Edward Strutt, 1st Baron Belper and Amelia Harriet Otter.¹ He was baptised at St. George’s Church, St. George Street, Hanover Square, London, England^G.¹ He married Lady Margaret Coke, daughter of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Juliana Whitbread, on 2 May 1874 at Holkham, Norfolk, England^G.¹ He died on 26 July 1914 at age 74 at Kingston Hall, Kingston on Soar, Derbyshire, England^G.² He was buried on 30 July 1914 at Kingston, Derbyshire, England^G.²
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1863 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1867 with a Master of Laws (LL.M.)¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for East Derbyshire between 1868 and 1874.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Berwick-upon-Tweed between April 1880 and June 1880.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Belper, of Belper, co. Derby [U.K., 1856] on 30 June 1880.¹ He was President of W.G. & J.      Hon. Doreen O’Brien was born on 4 March 1888.² She was the daughter of Edward Donough O’Brien, 14th Baron of Inchiquin and Hon. Ellen Harriet White.² She married Major Hon. Richard Coke, son of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Georgina Caroline Cavendish, on 21 December 1907.¹ She and Major Hon. Richard Coke were divorced in 1927.¹ She died on 10 June 1960 at age 72.¹
