From before 1562, her married name became Campbell.4 From before 10 August 1562, her married name became Montgomerie.3 After her marriage, Agnes Drummond was styled as Countess of Eglinton. From 1588, her married name became Drummond.4

He succeeded as the 4th Earl of Eglinton [S., 1507] on 3 June 1585.2 He succeeded as the 5th Lord Montgomerie [S., 1445] on 3 June 1585.2

Hugh Montgomerie, 5th Earl of Eglinton1 
He succeeded as the 6th Lord Montgomerie [S., 1445] in April 1586.3 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Eglinton [S., 1507] in April 1586.1 He was he bought the monastic Barony of Kilwinning in 1594.3 He was contracted to marry Gabriela, daughter of the 1st Duke of lennox, but she became a nun.3 On 28 November 1611 he resigned the Earldom and lands of Eglinton to the Crown for Charter of novodamus, which united the territorial lordship and barony of Kilwinning with the territorial Earldom of Eglinton, in favour of himself and with remainder to his cousin, Sir Alexander Seton of Foulstruther.3 His marriage to Margaret Montgomerie was annulled on 11 March 1612.3
