     Fernando de Castilla Portugal y Mendoza was born in 1494 at Madrid, Spain.¹ He was the son of Pedro Apóstol de Castilla y Portugal and Juana de Mendoza.¹ He married, secondly, María-Luisa de Lugo at San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands.¹ He married, thirdly, María de Castañeda, daughter of Pablo Gallegos and Francisca de Castañeda, at San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands.¹ He married, firstly, Beatriz Pallarés y Riquelme in 1518 at Canary Islands.¹ He died in 1574.¹

     Reverend Henry James Ramsden was born on 1 February 1837.¹ He was the son of Captain Henry James Ramsden and Hon. Frederica Selina Law.² He died on 8 December 1862 at age 25, unmarried.¹

     Beatriz Pallarés y Riquelme married Fernando de Castilla Portugal y Mendoza, son of Pedro Apóstol de Castilla y Portugal and Juana de Mendoza, in 1518 at Canary Islands.¹

     Reverend Frank Bridgman Walters was born in 1851 at Buckland Momachorum, Devon, England^G.¹ He was the son of John Thomas Walters and Fanny Bridgman.¹ He married Cecilia Frances Beales, daughter of Patrick Beales and Katharine Frances Hurrell, in 1878 at Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.¹ He died in August 1898 at Douglas, Isle of Man.¹
     He graduated from Queens’ College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was the principal at King William’s College, Castletown, Isle of Man^G.¹

     Juana de Mendoza married Pedro Apóstol de Castilla y Portugal, son of Pedro de Castilla y Fonseca and Joanna de Aviz, Princeza de Portugal.¹

     María-Luisa de Lugo married Fernando de Castilla Portugal y Mendoza, son of Pedro Apóstol de Castilla y Portugal and Juana de Mendoza, at San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands.¹

     María de Castañeda is the daughter of Pablo Gallegos and Francisca de Castañeda.¹ She married, secondly, Fernando de Castilla Portugal y Mendoza, son of Pedro Apóstol de Castilla y Portugal and Juana de Mendoza, at San Cristobal de La Laguna, Tenerife, Canary Islands.¹ She married, firstly, Fernando de Llerena, son of Hernando de Llerena and Ana Sánchez de Liria.¹

     Florence Mary Annabella Ramsden was the daughter of Captain Henry James Ramsden and Hon. Frederica Selina Law.² She married, firstly, John Hope Barton, son of John Watson Barton and Juliana Hope, on 30 April 1872, and had issue.¹ She married, secondly, Frank Summer Hatchard on 26 October 1887.¹ She died on 24 August 1924.¹
     From 30 April 1872, her married name became Barton.¹ From 26 October 1887, her married name became Hatchard.¹

     John Hope Barton was baptised on 11 December 1833 at Saxby, Lincolnshire, England.² He was the son of John Watson Barton and Juliana Hope.³ He married Florence Mary Annabella Ramsden, daughter of Captain Henry James Ramsden and Hon. Frederica Selina Law, on 30 April 1872, and had issue.¹ He died on 20 March 1876 at age 42.¹
     He lived at Stapleton Park, Yorkshire, England.⁴ He lived at Saxby Hall, Yorkshire, England.⁴ He lived at Stapleton Park, Pontefract, Yorkshire, West Riding, England^G.¹

     Charles Ramsden was born on 25 February 1801.¹ He was the son of Sir John Ramsden, 4th Bt. and Hon. Louisa Susan Ingram-Shepheard.² He married Lady Harriet Frances Byng, daughter of Field Marshal John Byng, 1st Earl of Strafford and Marianne James, on 14 June 1828.¹ He died on 11 February 1891 at age 89.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the British Army.¹ He lived at Newbold Revel, Warwickshire, England.¹
