Alexander Montgomerie, 8th Earl of Eglinton1 
He succeeded as the 8th Earl of Eglinton [S., 1507] in 1669.1 He succeeded as the 9th Lord Montgomerie [S., 1445] in 1669.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1679.1 He had two sons by his first wife.1

Mariot Seton1 
Her married name became Graham.2 Her married name became Borthwick.1 Her marriage to Thomas Borthwick, Master of Borthwick was annulled from 15 December 1530 to February 1530/31 by the Pope, on account of consanguinity.1,3 From from 30 January 1530/31 to 8 February 1530/31, her married name became Montgomerie.1 After her marriage, Mariot Seton was styled as Countess of Eglinton in June 1545.

George Seton, 2nd Lord Seton1 
He succeeded as the 2nd Lord Seton [S., 1451] circa July 1478.1 In 1493 he was the founder of the Collegiate Chiurch of Seton.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Scotland] in 1496.1
