     Major Denys Robert Trefusis was born on 30 March 1890.² He was the son of Colonel Hon. John Schomberg Trefusis and Eva Louisa Bontein.^1,3 He married Violet Keppel, daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Keppel and Alice Frederica Edmonstone, on 16 June 1919.¹ He died on 2 September 1929 at age 39.²
     He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1919.² He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Guards (Special Reserves.)²

     Colonel Hon. John Schomberg Trefusis was born on 24 June 1852 at Huish, Devon, England.^1,2 He was the son of Charles Rodolph Trefusis, 19th Lord Clinton and Lady Elizabeth Georgiana Kerr.³ He married Eva Louisa Bontein, daughter of James Bontein and Katherine Cecilia Shelley, on 19 July 1883.¹ He died on 29 December 1932 at age 80.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Devon.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Devonshire Regiment.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Somerset.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Devon.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1902.¹

     Sonia Rosemary Keppel was born on 24 May 1900 at London, England^G.^1,2 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Keppel and Alice Frederica Edmonstone.¹ She married Roland Calvert Cubitt, 3rd Baron Ashcombe, son of Henry Cubitt, 2nd Baron Ashcombe and Maud Marianne Calvert, on 16 November 1920 at Guard’s Chapel, Wellington Barracks, London, England^G.^1,2 She and Roland Calvert Cubitt, 3rd Baron Ashcombe were divorced on 4 July 1947.¹ She died on 16 August 1986 at age 86.^1,2
     Her married name became Cubitt. She was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)¹ She wrote the book The Sovereign Lady.¹ She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1959.¹

     Lady Elizabeth Graham-Toler was born on 6 June 1857.² She was the daughter of Hector John Graham-Toler, 3rd Earl of Norbury and Lady Steuart Bethune.^1,3 She married Major James Alexander, 4th Earl of Caledon, son of James Du Pre Alexander, 3rd Earl of Caledon and Lady Jane Frederica Harriot Mary Grimston, on 9 October 1884.³ She died on 6 October 1939 at age 82.³
     After her marriage, Lady Elizabeth Graham-Toler was styled as Countess of Caledon on 9 October 1884. From 9 October 1884, her married name became Alexander.

     Captain George William Bulkeley Hughes was born on 15 November 1835.² He was the son of Robert George Hughes and Hannah Jordan.² He married Millicent Georgina Montague Dobbs, daughter of Conway Richard Dobbs and Charlotte Maria Sinclair, on 10 November 1864.² He died on 12 October 1877 at age 41.³
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 62nd Foot.⁴ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Carreg Bran, Anglesey, Wales^G.⁴

     Rear-Admiral Charles Francis Walker was born on 9 February 1836.² He was the son of Sir James Walker, 1st Bt. and Maria Thompson.² He married Edith Frances Duncombe, daughter of Admiral Hon. Arthur Duncombe and Delia Field, on 22 April 1873.² He died on 8 August 1925 at age 89.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the East Riding, Yorkshire.² He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in the Royal Navy.
