Violet Keppel was born on 6 June 1894.1 She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Hon. George Keppel and Alice Frederica Edmonstone.1 She married Major Denys Robert Trefusis, son of Colonel Hon. John Schomberg Trefusis and Eva Louisa Bontein, on 16 June 1919.1 She died on 1 March 1970 at age 75, without issue.1
She was appointed Commander, Order of Merit of Italy.1 She was awarded the Médaille d’argent arts, sciences, lettres.1 She was appointed Chevalier, Order of Merit.1 Her married name became Trefusis. She was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.3
