     Charles Napier Carruthers Johnstone was born on 1 July 1929.¹ He was the son of Harmood Victor Carruthers Johnstone and Hester Caroline Napier.¹ He married Patricia Mary Elmes in 1958.¹
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.¹ He was with the Overseas Civil Service.¹

     Sally Caroline Johnstone was born on 1 December 1959.¹ She is the daughter of Charles Napier Carruthers Johnstone and Patricia Mary Elmes.¹

     Hester Caroline Napier was born on 22 October 1896.¹ She was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Edward Napier and Mary Ada Stewart.¹ She married Harmood Victor Carruthers Johnstone, son of Carruthers Charles Johnstone, on 9 August 1928.¹ She died on 15 April 1970 at age 73.¹
     Her married name became Johnstone.

     Camilla Mary Davidson was born in 1968.² She is the daughter of Duncan Henry Davidson and Sarah Filmer-Wilson.² She married Ivor I. Braka, son of Joseph Braka and Betty Dodds, in September 1991 at Northumberland, England^G.² She and Ivor I. Braka were divorced circa 1998.
     From September 1991, her married name became Braka.²

     Baroness Anne Louise de Graevenitz was the daughter of Baron Nicholas Werner Alexander de Graevenitz.¹ She married Major Denis James Alexander, 6th Earl of Caledon, son of Lt.-Col. Hon. Herbrand Charles Alexander and Millicent Valla Meredyth, on 31 December 1952.¹ She died on 20 July 1963.¹
     Her married name became Alexander.

     Baron Nicholas Werner Alexander de Graevenitz died before 1963.

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Herbrand Charles Alexander was born on 28 November 1888.² He was the son of Major James Alexander, 4th Earl of Caledon and Lady Elizabeth Graham-Toler.² He married, firstly, Millicent Valla Meredyth, daughter of Sir Henry Bayly Meredyth, 5th Bt., on 11 February 1919.² He and Millicent Valla Meredyth were divorced in 1927.² He married, secondly, Hon. Ada Kate Bellew, daughter of Hon. Richard Eustace Bellew and Ada Kate Gilbey, on 1 July 1937.¹ He died on 6 May 1965 at age 76.¹
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England^G.² He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Major in the 5th Lancers.² He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches three times.² He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1915.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Pioneer Corps.² He fought in the Second World War.²

     Millicent Valla Meredyth is the daughter of Sir Henry Bayly Meredyth, 5th Bt.² She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Herbrand Charles Alexander, son of Major James Alexander, 4th Earl of Caledon and Lady Elizabeth Graham-Toler, on 11 February 1919.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Hon. Herbrand Charles Alexander were divorced in 1927.¹
     Her married name became Alexander.

     Sir Henry Bayly Meredyth, 5th Bt. is the son of Henry William Meredyth and Harriet Anne Trench.
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Meredyth [I., 1795].

     Hon. Ada Kate Bellew was born in 1893.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Richard Eustace Bellew and Ada Kate Gilbey.¹ She married, firstly, Charles Barry Domvile, son of Compton Charles Domvile and Eleanor Maria Isabel Richardson, on 1 March 1917.¹ She and Charles Barry Domvile were divorced in 1936.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Hon. Herbrand Charles Alexander, son of Major James Alexander, 4th Earl of Caledon and Lady Elizabeth Graham-Toler, on 1 July 1937.¹ She died in July 1994.¹
     From 1 March 1917, her married name became Domvile. On 19 October 1935 she was granted the rank of baron’s daughter.¹ From 1 July 1937, her married name became Alexander.
