Sir George Clerk of Penicuik, 4th Bt.1 
He was Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer of the Exchequer.3 He was a Commissioner of Customs.3 He was a trustee for the improvement of fisheries and manufactures of Scotland.3 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Clerk, of Penicuik, Edinburgh [N.S., 1679] on 6 February 1782.3
