     Anne Corrie is the daughter of James Corrie.¹ She married George Bell, son of Benjamin Bell of Blackethouse and Rebecca Graham, on 21 October 1747.¹
     From 21 October 1747, her married name became Bell.¹

     James Corrie lived at Speddock, Scotland^G.¹

     Benjamin Bell of Blackethouse was born on 16 September 1749.¹ He was the son of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹ He married Grizel Hamilton, daughter of Robert Hamilton, in 1775.¹ He died on 8 April 1806 at age 56.¹
     He was a surgeon at Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S.E.) in 1771.¹ In 1777 he sold Blackethouse.¹ He was admitted to the Royal Company of Archers.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal Society of Edinburgh (F.R.S.E.) in 1783.¹
     He also had two daughters, who both died young.¹

     Thomas Bell was born in December 1753.¹ He was the son of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹ He died in 1788.¹
     He was a merchant.¹

     James Bell was born in July 1758.¹ He was the son of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹ He died in 1832.¹

     William Bell was born on 20 December 1762.¹ He was the son of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹ He died in 1795 at Grenada^G, murdered in an insurrection.¹

     Joseph Bell was born between 1763 and 1764.¹ He was the son of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹ He died in 1786 at Grenada^G, from tuberculosis.¹

     Rebecca Bell was born in January 1751.¹ She was the daughter of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹ She died on 4 March 1813 at age 62, unmarried.¹

     Anne Bell was born on 4 August 1765.¹ She was the daughter of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹ She married Captain George Maxwell.¹
     Her married name became Maxwell.¹

     Captain George Maxwell married Anne Bell, daughter of George Bell and Anne Corrie.¹
