     Robert Bell of Lunna was born on 2 March 1815.¹ He was the son of Joseph Bell of Blackethouse and Roberta Craigie.¹ He married, firstly, Robina Hunter of Lunna on 25 June 1846 at Sand Lodge, Sandwick, Shetland Islands, Scotland.^1,2 He married, secondly, Agnew Macrae Bruce on 10 December 1869 at The Wesleyan Chapel, St. John’s Wood, London, England.^3,2 He died on 9 September 1887 at age 72.¹
     He was an Advocate in 1836.¹
