Françoise Madeleine de Valois was born on 13 October 1648 at Saint-Germain-en-Laye, Île-de-France, FranceG.3 She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Gaston, Duc d’Orléans and Marguerite de Lorraine.4,1 She married Carlo Emanuele II, Duca di Savoia, son of Vittorio Amadeo I, Duca di Savoia and Marie Christine de Bourbon, Princesse de France, on 3 April 1663 at Annecy, FranceG.3 She married Carlo Emanuele II, Duca di Savoia, son of Vittorio Amadeo I, Duca di Savoia and Marie Christine de Bourbon, Princesse de France, on 4 March 1663 at The Louvre, Paris, FranceG, in a proxy marriage.3 She died on 14 January 1664 at age 15 at Turin, ItalyG, without issue.3
She was also known as Mademoiselle de Valois.3
