     He succeeded as the 8th Fürst von Thurn und Taxis on 26 June 1867.¹ He was given the name of Albrecht Maria Joseph Maximilian Lamoral at birth.³

     Margarethe Klementine Maria Erzherzogin von Österreich was born on 6 July 1870 at Alcsút, Hungary.³ She was the daughter of Joseph Karl Ludwig Erzherzog von Österreich and Marie Adelheid Amalie Clothilde Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld.⁴ She married Albrecht Maria Joseph VIII Fürst von Thurn und Taxis, son of Maximilian Anton Lamoral Erbprinz von Thurn und Taxis and Helene Karoline Therese Herzogin in Bayern, on 15 July 1890 at Budapest, Hungary^G.³ She died on 2 May 1955 at age 84 at Regensburg, Germany^G.³
     She was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine.³ She gained the title of Erzherzogin von Österreich (styled as HI&RH Archduchess of Austria.¹)

     Elisabeth Maria Maximiliana Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis was born on 28 May 1860 at Dresden, Sachsen, Germany^G.³ She was the daughter of Maximilian Anton Lamoral Erbprinz von Thurn und Taxis and Helene Karoline Therese Herzogin in Bayern.¹ She married Miguel de Bragança, Duque de Bragança, son of Miguel I de Bragança, Rei de Portugal and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, on 17 October 1877 at Regensburg, Germany^G. She died on 7 February 1881 at age 20 at Odenburg^G.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis.

     Maria Emanuel Markgraf von Meissen was born on 31 January 1926 at Prüfening Castle, Regensburg, Germany^G.² He was the son of Friedrich Christian Albrecht Markgraf von Meissen and Elisabeth Helene Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis.¹ He married Anastasia Prinzessin von Anhalt, daughter of Eugen Friedrich Ernst August Prinz von Anhalt and Anastasia Therese Karoline Jungmeier, on 31 January 1963 at Vevey, Switzerland^G.² He was also reported to have been married on 23 June 1962 at Vevey, Switzerland^G. He died on 23 July 2012 at age 86 at La Tour de Peilz, Kanton Vaud, Switzerland.³
     He became an unknown person ‘s adoptive father on 1 July 1999.³

     Anastasia Prinzessin von Anhalt was born on 22 December 1940 at Regensburg, Germany^G.² She is the daughter of Eugen Friedrich Ernst August Prinz von Anhalt and Anastasia Therese Karoline Jungmeier.² She married Maria Emanuel Markgraf von Meissen, son of Friedrich Christian Albrecht Markgraf von Meissen and Elisabeth Helene Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis, on 31 January 1963 at Vevey, Switzerland^G.² She was also reported to have been married on 23 June 1962 at Vevey, Switzerland^G.
     She was given the name of Anastasia Luise Alexandra Elisabeth Jutta Sybille Marie-Auguste at birth.

     Maria Josepha Prinzessin von Sachsen was born on 20 September 1928 at Bad Wörishofen, Germany.¹ She is the daughter of Friedrich Christian Albrecht Markgraf von Meissen and Elisabeth Helene Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis.¹

     Maria Anna Josepha Prinzessin von Sachsen was born on 13 December 1929. She was the daughter of Friedrich Christian Albrecht Markgraf von Meissen and Elisabeth Helene Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis.¹ She married Roberto de Afif, son of Alexander de Afif-Gessaph and Maria Atthye, on 1 May 1953 at Paris, France^G. She died on 13 March 2012 at age 82.²

     Roberto de Afif was born on 30 November 1916. He was the son of Alexander de Afif-Gessaph and Maria Atthye. He married Maria Anna Josepha Prinzessin von Sachsen, daughter of Friedrich Christian Albrecht Markgraf von Meissen and Elisabeth Helene Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis, on 1 May 1953 at Paris, France^G. He died on 13 December 1978 at age 62.

     Albrecht Joseph Prinz von Sachsen was born on 30 November 1934 at Bamberg, Bavaria, Germany.¹ He was the son of Friedrich Christian Albrecht Markgraf von Meissen and Elisabeth Helene Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis.¹ Albrecht Joseph and Elmira were also married in a religious ceremony on 12 April 1980 at Munich, Germany.² He married Elmira Henke, daughter of Emil Henke and Lydia Müller, on 10 April 1980 in a civil marriage. He died on 6 October 2012 at age 77 at Munich, Germany.²
     He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)²

     Eugen Friedrich Ernst August Prinz von Anhalt was born on 17 April 1903. He was the son of Eduard Georg Wilhelm Maximilian Herzog von Anhalt and Marie Agnes Luise Charlotte Prinzessin von Sachsen-Altenburg. He married Anastasia Therese Karoline Jungmeier, daughter of Max Jungmeier and Anastasia Steiner, on 2 October 1935. He died on 2 September 1980 at age 77.
