Miguel de Bragança, Duque de Bragança was born on 19 September 1853. He was the son of Miguel I de Bragança, Rei de Portugal and Adelheid Prinzessin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg. He married, firstly, Elisabeth Maria Maximiliana Prinzessin von Thurn und Taxis, daughter of Maximilian Anton Lamoral Erbprinz von Thurn und Taxis and Helene Karoline Therese Herzogin in Bayern, on 17 October 1877 at Regensburg, GermanyG. He married, secondly, Marie Therese Prinzessin von Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, daughter of Karl Prinz von Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg, on 8 November 1893 at Kleinheubach, GermanyG.2 He died on 11 October 1927 at age 74 at Seebenstein, AustriaG.
He gained the title of Duque de Bragança.
