Captain Geoffrey Berkeley William Throckmorton1 
He gained the rank of Captain in the Berkshire Yeomanry.1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918, where he was wounded and mentioned in despatches.1 He was Clerk of the Journals, House of Commons between 1940 and 1948.1 He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1947.1 He lived in 1970 at Spiney House, Coughton, Alcester, Warwickshire, EnglandG.1

Sir Gilbert d’Aton1 
He was appointed Knight on 22 May 1306.2 On 7 August 1308 he had a grant of free warren in his demesne lands in Barlby, the Holmes, Welham, and Knapton.2 In 1316/17 he established his claim to the lands of William de Vescy of Kildare.2 On 22 January 1317/18 he had livery of Langton and Wintringham, Yorkshire.2 On 26 November 1318 he had livery of Malton.2 In 1323/24 he confirmed the grant, for 700 marks, to Henry de Percy, which Anthony, Bishop of Durham, had made him of the castle of Alnwick.2 He lived at West Ayton, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 His last will was dated 10 April 1350.2
