     William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley was born on 25 May 1867.¹ He was the son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe.¹ He married, firstly, Rachel Gurney, daughter of Charles Henry Gurney and Alice Marie Prinsep, on 14 September 1891.¹ He married, secondly, Gertrude Millar, daughter of John Millar, on 30 April 1924.³ He died on 29 June 1932 at age 65.¹
     He succeeded as the 12th Baron Ward of Birmingham, co. Warwick [E., 1644] on 7 May 1885.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Earl of Dudley, of Dudley Castle, co. Stafford [U.K., 1860] on 7 May 1885.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Ednam, of Ednam, co.      Sir Hon. John Hubert Ward was born on 20 March 1870.¹ He was the son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe.¹ He married Jean Templeton Reid, daughter of Whitelaw Reid, on 23 June 1908.¹ He died on 2 December 1938 at age 68.¹

     Jean Templeton Reid was the daughter of Whitelaw Reid.¹ She married Sir Hon. John Hubert Ward, son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe, on 23 June 1908.¹ She died on 1 May 1962.¹
     She was appointed Dame of Grace, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (D.G.St.J.)¹ Her married name became Ward. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.¹

     Hon. Robert Arthur Ward was born on 23 February 1871.¹ He was the son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe.¹ He married Lady Mary Acheson, daughter of Archibald Brabazon Sparrow Acheson, 4th Earl of Gosford and Lady Louisa Augusta Beatrice Montagu, on 24 July 1906.¹ He died on 14 June 1942 at age 71.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Worcestershier Imperial Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Crewe between 1895 and 1900.¹ He fought in the Matabeleland Campaign in 1896.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1901 and 1902.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was twice mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Chevalier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1919.¹

     Lady Mary Acheson was born in 1881. She was the daughter of Archibald Brabazon Sparrow Acheson, 4th Earl of Gosford and Lady Louisa Augusta Beatrice Montagu.^1,2 She married Hon. Robert Arthur Ward, son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe, on 24 July 1906.¹
     Her married name became Ward.

     Lady Edith Amelia Ward was born on 16 September 1872.¹ She was the daughter of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe.¹ She married Frederic Glyn, 4th Baron Wolverton, son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Henry Carr Glyn and Rose Mahoney, on 5 January 1895.¹ She died on 6 June 1956 at age 83.¹
     From 5 January 1895, her married name became Glyn. After her marriage, Lady Edith Amelia Ward was styled as Baroness Wolverton on 5 January 1895. She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1918.¹

     Frederic Glyn, 4th Baron Wolverton was born on 24 September 1864.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Henry Carr Glyn and Rose Mahoney.¹ He married Lady Edith Amelia Ward, daughter of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe, on 5 January 1895.² He died on 3 October 1932 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He was educated at Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Wolverton, of Wolverton, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1869] on 2 July 1888.¹ He held the office of Member of London City Council between 1898 and 1901, Fulham.¹ He fought in the Boer War in 1900.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the North Somerset Imperial Yeomanry.¹ He held the office of Vice-Chamberlain of the Household between 1902 and 1906.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Dorset.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Dorset.¹ He was senior partner of Glyn, Mills, Currie & Company, bankers.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Territorial Forces Reserve.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1916.¹

     Captain Hon. Reginald Ward was born on 11 June 1874.¹ He was the son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe. He died on 7 March 1904 at age 29, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1902.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Guards.¹

     Captain Hon. Cyril Augustus Ward was born on 31 January 1876.³ He was the son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe.³ He married Baroness Irene Blanche Nicolette van Brienen, daughter of Baron Arnoud Nicolaas Justinus van Brienen, on 14 April 1904.¹ He died on 11 January 1930 at age 53.³
     He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1903.³ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.³ He was commander of the Division of the Grand Fleet between 1914 and 1917.³

     Baroness Irene Blanche Nicolette van Brienen was born on 5 November 1883.^1,2 She was the daughter of Baron Arnoud Nicolaas Justinus van Brienen.¹ She married, firstly, Captain Hon. Cyril Augustus Ward, son of William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley and Georgina Elisabeth Moncreiffe, on 14 April 1904.¹ She married, secondly, Vice-Admiral Hon. Arthur Charles Strutt, son of John William Strutt, 3rd Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Evelyn Georgiana Mary Balfour, in December 1934.¹ She died on 21 April 1974 at age 90.¹
     From 14 April 1904, her married name became Ward. From December 1934, her married name became Strutt.
