     Avril Edith Simmons was the daughter of R. O. Simmons.¹ She married Major George Henley Eden, son of William Annesley Eden and Mabel Louisa Homfray Pinsent, in 1928.¹ She and Major George Henley Eden were divorced in 1949.¹ She died on 18 January 1966.¹
     From 1928, her married name became Eden.¹

     Hon. Ernestine Wellington Sidney was the daughter of Philip Charles Sidney, 1st Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Lady Sophia Fitz-Clarence.¹ She married Philip Perceval, son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Perceval and Jane Anne L’Estrange, on 9 January 1868.¹ She died on 20 September 1910.¹
     From 9 January 1868, her married name became Perceval.

     Philip Perceval was the son of Lt.-Col. Alexander Perceval and Jane Anne L’Estrange.² He married Frederica Penelope Baillie, daughter of Colonel Hugh Duncan Baillie and Mary Smith.³ He married Hon. Ernestine Wellington Sidney, daughter of Philip Charles Sidney, 1st Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Lady Sophia Fitz-Clarence, on 9 January 1868.¹ He died on 28 March 1897.¹

     Hon. Sophia Philippa Sidney was the daughter of Philip Charles Sidney, 1st Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Lady Sophia Fitz-Clarence.¹ She married Alexander Graf von Kielmannsegg, son of Eduard Howe Graf von Kielmannsegg and Juliane von Zesterfleth, on 20 April 1871.¹ She died on 12 May 1907, without issue.¹
     From 20 April 1871, her married name became von Kielmannsegg.

     Alexander Graf von Kielmannsegg was born on 13 August 1833. He was the son of Eduard Howe Graf von Kielmannsegg and Juliane von Zesterfleth.¹ He married Hon. Sophia Philippa Sidney, daughter of Philip Charles Sidney, 1st Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Lady Sophia Fitz-Clarence, on 20 April 1871.¹ He died in August 1914.¹

     Caroline Knott was born on 30 October 1939 at Ascot, Berkshire, England^G.¹ She married Hugo Veriand Prinz zu Windisch-Grätz, son of Alfred Prinz zu Windisch-Grätz and Marie Isabella Gabrielle Franziska Ferdinandine Prinzessin zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, on 21 October 1961 at London, England^G. She and Hugo Veriand Prinz zu Windisch-Grätz were divorced in 1967.

     Emily Frances Ramsay was the daughter of William Fermor Ramsay.¹ She married, firstly, Philip Sidney, 2nd Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst, son of Philip Charles Sidney, 1st Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Lady Sophia Fitz-Clarence, on 25 January 1893.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Walter George Stirling of Faskine, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine, 2nd Bt. and Lady Caroline Frances Byng, on 21 February 1903.¹ She and Sir Walter George Stirling of Faskine, 3rd Bt. were divorced in 1909.¹ She died on 3 November 1926.¹
     Emily Frances Ramsay usually went by her middle name of Frances.¹ From 25 January 1893, her married name became Sidney. She was appointed Lady of Grace, Order of St. John of Jerusalem (L.G.St.J.)¹ From 21 February 1903, her married name became Stirling.

     Sir Walter George Stirling of Faskine, 3rd Bt. was born on 6 September 1839.² He was the son of Sir Walter Stirling of Faskine, 2nd Bt. and Lady Caroline Frances Byng.² He married, firstly, Eliza Horatia Frederica Seymour, daughter of Frederick Charles William Seymour and Lady Augusta Hervey, on 12 October 1875 at St. John’s Church, Wilton Road, London, England^G.³ He married, secondly, Emily Frances Ramsay, daughter of William Fermor Ramsay, on 21 February 1903.² He and Emily Frances Ramsay were divorced in 1909.² He died on 7 June 1934 at age 94.²
     Sir Walter George Stirling of Faskine, 3rd Bt. usually went by his middle name of George.² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.³ He was Extra Groom-in-waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1866 and 1901.² He was Aide-de-Camp to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland between 1869 and 1874.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Kent.² He was Governor to HRH Prince Leopold.² He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Northamptonshire.² He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Stirling, of Faskine [U.K., 1800] on 1 December 1888.² On his death his baronetcy became extinct.²

     William Fermor Ramsay lived at Croughton Park, Northamptonshire, England^G.¹

     Philip Sidney, 3rd Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst was born on 14 May 1853.¹ He was the son of Philip Sidney, 2nd Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst and Mary Foulis.¹ He married Hon. Elizabeth Maria Vereker, daughter of Standish Prendergast Vereker, 4th Viscount Gort and Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage, on 12 June 1902.² He died on 24 December 1922 at age 69, without issue.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst, co. Kent [U.K., 1835] on 17 February 1898.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place, co. Kent [U.K., 1818] on 17 February 1898.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Brigade.¹
