     Standish Prendergast Vereker, 4th Viscount Gort was born on 6 July 1819.¹ He was the son of John Prendergast Vereker, 3rd Viscount Gort and Hon. Maria O’Grady.² He married Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage, daughter of Henry Hall Gage, 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Elizabeth Maria Foley, on 4 May 1847.¹ He died on 9 January 1900 at age 80.¹
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of High Sheriff in 1843.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 4th Brigade, South Irish Division, Royal Artillery.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Galway.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Kiltarton of Gort, co. Galway [I., 1810] on 20 October 1865.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Gort, co. Galway [I., 1816] on 20 October 1865.¹

     Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage was born on 23 July 1823.¹ She was the daughter of Henry Hall Gage, 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Elizabeth Maria Foley.¹ She married Standish Prendergast Vereker, 4th Viscount Gort, son of John Prendergast Vereker, 3rd Viscount Gort and Hon. Maria O’Grady, on 4 May 1847.² She died on 8 May 1888 at age 64.²
     Her married name became Vereker. After her marriage, Hon. Caroline Harriet Gage was styled as Viscountess Gort on 20 October 1865.

     Henry Hall Gage, 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island was born on 14 December 1791.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Gage, 3rd Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Susannah Maria Skinner.¹ He married Elizabeth Maria Foley, daughter of Hon. Edward Foley and Anna Maria Hodgetts, on 8 March 1813.² He died on 20 January 1877 at age 85.¹
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Gage of High Meadow, co. Gloucester [G.B., 1790] on 29 January 1808.¹ He succeeded as the 11th Baronet Gage, of Firley, co. Sussex [E., 1622] on 29 January 1808.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island, co. Kerry [I., 1720] on 29 January 1808.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baron Gage of Castlebar, co. Mayo [I., 1720] on 29 January 1808.¹

     Elizabeth Maria Foley was the daughter of Hon. Edward Foley and Anna Maria Hodgetts.¹ She married Henry Hall Gage, 4th Viscount Gage of Castle Island, son of Maj.-Gen. Henry Gage, 3rd Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Susannah Maria Skinner, on 8 March 1813.¹ She died on 13 June 1857.¹
     Her married name became Gage.

     Herbert Arthur Robert Hervey, 5th Marquess of Bristol was born on 10 October 1870.¹ He was the son of Lord Augustus Henry Charles Hervey and Mariana Hodnett.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Jean Alice Elaine Cochrane, daughter of Lt.-Gen. Douglas Mackinnon Baillie Hamilton Cochrane, 12th Earl of Dundonald and Winifred Bamford-Hesketh, on 29 October 1914.¹ He and Lady Jean Alice Elaine Cochrane were divorced in 1933.¹ He married, secondly, Dora Frances Emblin Marshall, daughter of George Marshall, on 15 December 1952.¹ He died on 5 April 1960 at age 89.¹
     He was educated at Clifton College, Clifton, Bristol, England^G.¹ He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Colombia between 1919 and 1923.² He held the office of Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to Peru and Ecuador between 1919 and 1928.² He was awarded the Grand Cross, Order of the Sun of Peru.² He succeeded as the 5th Earl Jermyn of Horningsheath, Suffolk [U.K., 1826] on 24 October 1951.¹ He succeeded as the 5th Marquess of Bristol [U.K., 1826] on 24 October 1951.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Bristol [G.B., 1714] on 24 October 1951.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baron Hervey of Ickworth, Suffolk [E., 1703] on 24 October 1951.¹

     Lord Augustus Henry Charles Hervey was born on 2 August 1837.² He was the son of Frederick William Hervey, 2nd Marquess of Bristol and Lady Katherine Isabella Manners.¹ He married Mariana Hodnett, daughter of William P. Hodnett, on 30 July 1861.² He died on 28 May 1875 at age 37.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West Suffolk.²

     Piers A. C. Hillier is the son of Philip Hillier.¹ He married Alexandra Victoria Corinna Harries, daughter of Lt.-Cdr. David Alexander Harries and Hon. Anne Marjorie Sidney, on 19 June 2004 at St. George’s Church, Benenden, Kent, England.^1,2

     Philip John Algernon Sidney, 2nd Viscount De L’Isle was born on 21 April 1945.¹ He is the son of William Philip Sidney, 1st Viscount De L’Isle, V.C. and Hon. Jacqueline Corinne Yvonne Vereker.¹ He married Isobel Tresyllian Compton, daughter of Sir Edmund Gerald Compton and Betty Tresyllian Williams, on 15 November 1980.¹
     He was educated at Tabley House School, Knutsford, Cheshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Mons Officer Cadet School^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in 1966 in the Grenadier Guards.¹ He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1977.¹ He retired from the military in 1979.¹ He succeeded as the 7th Baron De L’Isle and Dudley of Penshurst, co. Kent [U.K., 1835] on 5 April 1991.² He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount De L’Isle, of Penshurst, co. Kent [U.K., 1956] on 5 April 1991.¹ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Shelley Sidney, of Penshurst Place, co. Kent [U.K., 1818] on 5 April 1991.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Shelley, of Castle Goring, co. Sussex [U.K., 1806] on 5 April 1991.² He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in 1992 in the 5th Battalion, Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Kent in 1995.¹ He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Kent in 2002.¹ He lived in 2003 at Penshurst Place, Tonbridge, Kent, England^G.¹

     Isobel Tresyllian Compton is the daughter of Sir Edmund Gerald Compton and Betty Tresyllian Williams.^1,2 She married Philip John Algernon Sidney, 2nd Viscount De L’Isle, son of William Philip Sidney, 1st Viscount De L’Isle, V.C. and Hon. Jacqueline Corinne Yvonne Vereker, on 15 November 1980.¹
     From 15 November 1980, her married name became Sidney.

     Hon. Philip William Edmund Sidney was born on 2 April 1985.¹ He is the son of Philip John Algernon Sidney, 2nd Viscount De L’Isle and Isobel Tresyllian Compton.¹
