Maj.-Gen. Sir Stewart Graham Menzies1 
Maj.-Gen. Sir Stewart Graham Menzies was born in 1890.3 He was the son of John Graham Menzies and Susannah West Wilson.1,3 He married, firstly, Lady Avice Ela Murial Sackville, daughter of Gilbert George Reginald Sackville, 8th Earl De La Warr and Lady Muriel Agnes Brassey, on 28 November 1918.4 He and Lady Avice Ela Murial Sackville were divorced in 1931.4 He married, secondly, Pamela Thetis Beckett, daughter of Hon. Rupert Evelyn Beckett and Muriel Helen Florence Paget, on 13 December 1932.4 He married, thirdly, Audrey Clara Lilian Latham, daughter of Sir Thomas Paul Latham, 1st Bt. and Florence Clara Walley, on 12 December 1952.1 He died on 29 May 1968.4
He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)4 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)4 He gained the rank of Major-General in the 2nd Life Guards.4 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)4 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)4 He was Head of MI6 between 1939 and 1952.5
