Hon. Gwladys Alice Gertrude Wilson was born on 25 June 1881.3 She was the daughter of Charles Henry Wilson, 1st Baron Nunburnholme and Florence Jane Helen Wellesley.1 She married Eric Chaplin, 2nd Viscount Chaplin, son of Henry Chaplin, 1st Viscount Chaplin and Lady Florence Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, on 3 August 1905 at Warter Priory, York, Yorkshire, EnglandG.1 She died in 1971.2
Her married name became Chaplin. After her marriage, Hon. Gwladys Alice Gertrude Wilson was styled as Viscountess Chaplin on 29 May 1923.

Lady Marioth Christina Hay1 
From 18 December 1940, her married name became Trotter. From 2 March 1954, her married name became Fox. From 2 April 1963, her married name became James.1 In 1970 she was granted the rank of a marquess’s daughter.1 In 1971 her name was legally changed to Marioth Christina Hay by Deed Poll.1 She lived in 2003 at Forbes Lodge, Gifford, East Lothian, ScotlandG.1
