Lady Florence Sutherland-Leveson-Gower was born on 17 April 1855.3 She was the daughter of George Granville William Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 3rd Duke of Sutherland and Anne Hay-Mackenzie, Countess of Cromartie.1 She married Henry Chaplin, 1st Viscount Chaplin, son of Reverend Henry Chaplin and Caroline Horatia Ellice, on 15 November 1876 at Trentham, Staffordshire, EnglandG.1 She died on 10 October 1881 at age 26 at Blankney, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1 She was buried at Blankney, Lincolnshire, EnglandG.1
Her married name became Chaplin.
