     Douglas Gurney Pelly was born on 30 April 1910.1 He was the son of Vivian Gurney Pelly and Dorothy Penrose Sewell.2 He married Monica Tate, daughter of Lt.-Col. Arthur Wignall Tate and Violet Elaine Few, on 14 May 1935.2 He died on 5 January 2001 at age 90.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, EnglandG.1 He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1962.1 He lived at Saffron Walden, Essex, EnglandG.

Eliza Peel

     Eliza Peel was born circa 1832.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. and Julia Floyd.2,3 She married Hon. Francis Stonor, son of Thomas Stonor, 3rd Lord Camoys and Frances Towneley, on 25 September 1855.3 She died in April 1883.3
     Her married name became Stonor. She was Woman of the Bedchamber to HM Queen Alexandra when Princess of Wales.3

     Hon. Francis Stonor was born on 5 January 1829.1 He was the son of Thomas Stonor, 3rd Lord Camoys and Frances Towneley.2 He married Eliza Peel, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Robert Peel, 2nd Bt. and Julia Floyd, on 25 September 1855.1 He died on 10 January 1881 at age 52.2
     He held the office of Clerk of the House of Lords.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1

Sir Ralph Basset1

     Sir Ralph Basset was the son of Ralph Basset.2 He married Margaret de Somery, daughter of Roger de Somery and Nicole d‘Aubigny.2 He died on 4 August 1265 at Evesham, Worcestershire, EnglandG, killed in action.2
     On 24 December 1264 he was summoned to Parliament by writ, but this writ did not create a peerage as it was issued ‘in rebellion.2‘ He fought in the Battle of Evesham on 4 August 1265, against the King.2

Francis Robert Stonor, 4th Lord Camoys1

     Francis Robert Stonor, 4th Lord Camoys was born on 9 December 1856.1 He was the son of Hon. Francis Stonor and Eliza Peel.2 He married Jessica Philippa Carew, daughter of Robert Russell Carew and Jessie King Lade, on 14 September 1881 at St. Mary of the Angels, Westmoreland Road, Bayswater, London, EnglandG.3 He died on 14 July 1897 at age 40 at 28 Alford Street, Park Lane, Mayfair, London, EnglandG, after an operation.3
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Oxfordshire Yeomanry Cavalry.1 He succeeded as the 4th Lord Camoys [E., 1383] on 18 January 1881.1 He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria in 1886.1 He held the office of Lord-in-Waiting to HM Queen Victoria between 1892 and 1895.1

     Jessica Philippa Carew was born on 26 December 1857.2 She was the daughter of Robert Russell Carew and Jessie King Lade.3,2 She was baptised on 7 February 1858 at St. Jude’s Church, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, ScotlandG.2 She married, firstly, Francis Robert Stonor, 4th Lord Camoys, son of Hon. Francis Stonor and Eliza Peel, on 14 September 1881 at St. Mary of the Angels, Westmoreland Road, Bayswater, London, EnglandG.2 She married, secondly, Sir Evelyn John Ruggles-Brise, son of Colonel Sir Samuel Brise Ruggles-Brise and Marianne Weyland Bowyer-Smijth, on 3 September 1914. She died on 29 November 1928 at age 70.1
     Jessica Philippa Carew also went by the nick-name of Jessie.1 From 14 September 1881, her married name became Stonor. Her married name became Ruggles-Brise.

     Sir Evelyn John Ruggles-Brise was born in 1858 at Finchingfield, Essex, England.2 He was the son of Colonel Sir Samuel Brise Ruggles-Brise and Marianne Weyland Bowyer-Smijth.2 He married, firstly, Jessica Philippa Carew, daughter of Robert Russell Carew and Jessie King Lade, on 3 September 1914. He married, secondly, Sheelah Maud Emily Chichester, daughter of Hon. Francis Algernon James Chichester and Lady Emily Octavia Stewart, on 6 June 1933.1 He died on 18 August 1935.1
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)3

     Major William Hay was the son of John Hay and Dorothy Hayhurst.1 He married, firstly, Lady Catherine Hay, daughter of John Hay, 4th Marquess of Tweedale and Lady Frances Carteret, on 23 April 1774.1 He married, secondly, Mary Nisbet, daughter of William Nisbet of Dirleton and Mary Hamilton, on 6 March 1779.1 He died on 23 July 1781.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 3rd Foot Guards.1 He gained the rank of Major in the South Fencible Regiment.1
