Marianne Margaret Clifton was the daughter of Sir Juckes Granville Juckes Clifton, 8th Bt.1 She married Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Hervey Bruce, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Robertson Bruce, 2nd Bt. and Ellen Hesketh, on 12 July 1842.1 She died on 28 July 1891.1
From 12 July 1842, her married name became Bruce.
