     Mildred Estelle Sybella Master was born on 12 April 1876 at Bellary, Madras, India.^2,3 She was the daughter of John Henry Master and Gertrude Emma Begbie.² She married Sir Ralph Cockayne Assheton, 1st Bt., son of Ralph Assheton and Emily Augusta Feilden, on 27 September 1898 at Petersham, Surrey, England.^1,3 She died on 18 August 1949 at age 73 at Clitheroe, Lancashire, England.^1,3
     She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Lancashire.¹ From 27 September 1898, her married name became Assheton.¹ She was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1934.¹

     Sir Juckes Granville Juckes Clifton, 8th Bt. is the son of Sir Gervase Clifton, 6th Bt.
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Clifton, of Clifton, co. Nottingham [E., 1611] in 1837.

     Marianne Margaret Clifton was the daughter of Sir Juckes Granville Juckes Clifton, 8th Bt.¹ She married Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Hervey Bruce, 3rd Bt., son of Sir James Robertson Bruce, 2nd Bt. and Ellen Hesketh, on 12 July 1842.¹ She died on 28 July 1891.¹
     From 12 July 1842, her married name became Bruce.

     John Henry Master was born in 1831 at Burnley, Lancashire, England.^1,2 He was the son of Venerable Robert Mosley Master and Frances Mary Smith.¹ He married Gertrude Emma Begbie, daughter of Alfred William Begbie and Margaret Watt, in 1865 at Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England.² He died in January 1919 at Petersham, Surrey, England.^1,2
     He was educated at East India College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹ He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.¹ He lived after 1875 at Montrose House, Petersham, Surrey, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³

     Admiral Sir James Andrew Thomas Bruce was born on 15 July 1846.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Hervey Bruce, 3rd Bt. and Marianne Margaret Clifton.¹ He married Catherine Mary Philippa Wodehouse, daughter of Colonel Edwin Wodehouse and Catherine Street, on 27 June 1877.¹ He died on 25 May 1921 at age 74.¹
     He fought in the Niger Campaign in 1876.¹ He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1900.¹

     Colonel Edwin Wodehouse was born on 17 April 1817.² He was the son of Vice-Admiral Hon. Philip Wodehouse and Mary Hay Cameron.² He married Catherine Street, daughter of Captain John Street, on 16 October 1845.² He died on 6 October 1870 at age 53.²
     He was awarded the Chevalier, Legion of Honour.² He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.¹

     Catherine Mary Philippa Wodehouse was the daughter of Colonel Edwin Wodehouse and Catherine Street.^1,2 She married Admiral Sir James Andrew Thomas Bruce, son of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Hervey Bruce, 3rd Bt. and Marianne Margaret Clifton, on 27 June 1877.¹ She died on 18 April 1924.¹
     From 27 June 1877, her married name became Bruce.¹

     Jane Latham married Major Rowland Mainwaring, son of Edward Mainwaring and Sarah Bunbury. She died in 1809.¹
     Her married name became Mainwaring.

     Sir Hervey Juckes Lloyd Bruce, 4th Bt. was born on 5 October 1843.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Hervey Bruce, 3rd Bt. and Marianne Margaret Clifton.¹ He married Ellen Maud Ricardo, daughter of Percy Ricardo, on 15 January 1872.¹ He died on 8 May 1919 at age 75.²
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Londonderry.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Londonderry.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Coldstream Guards.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the Londonderry Royal Field Artillery (Reserves.)¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Nottinghamshire.¹ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Londonderry in 1903.¹ He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bruce, of Downhill, co. Londonderry [U.K., 1804] on 8 December 1909.¹

     Elizabeth Katherine St. Paul was born on 26 November 1806.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Horace David Cholwell St. Paul, 1st Bt. and Hon. Anna Maria Ward.¹ She died on 7 April 1881 at age 74, unmarried.¹
