     Ethel Caroline Bruce was the daughter of Major Stewart Hervey Bruce and Frances Anna Maria Becher.¹ She died on 17 June 1949, unmarried.¹

     Gonzalo Salazar was born in 1946 at Santiago, Chile^G.¹ He married Jacqueline Esmée Roughton, daughter of Commander John Harry Roughton and Esmée Katalin Lowther, on 14 December 1973.¹

     Andrea Salazar was born in May 1974 at Madrid, Spain^G.¹ She is the daughter of Gonzalo Salazar and Jacqueline Esmée Roughton.¹

     Robert Bamford Hesketh lived at Gwyrch Castle, Denbighshire, Wales^G.¹

     Ellen Hesketh was the daughter of Robert Bamford Hesketh.¹ She married Sir James Robertson Bruce, 2nd Bt., son of Rev. Sir Henry Hervey Aston Bruce, 1st Bt. and Letitia Barnard, on 20 September 1819.¹ She died on 14 July 1864.¹
     From 20 September 1819, her married name became Bruce.

     Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Hervey Bruce, 3rd Bt. was born on 22 September 1820.² He was the son of Sir James Robertson Bruce, 2nd Bt. and Ellen Hesketh.¹ He married Marianne Margaret Clifton, daughter of Sir Juckes Granville Juckes Clifton, 8th Bt., on 12 July 1842.² He died on 8 December 1909 at age 89.²
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bruce, of Downhill, co. Londonderry [U.K., 1804] on 22 April 1836.² He gained the rank of officer in the 1st Life Guards.² He held the office of High Sheriff of County Londonderry in 1846.² He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.)² He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 9th Brigade, Northern Ireland Division, Royal Artillery.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Coleraine between 1862 and 1874.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Coleraine between 1880 and 1885.² He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Londonderry.²

     Colonel Robert Bruce was born on 17 February 1825.¹ He was the son of Sir James Robertson Bruce, 2nd Bt. and Ellen Hesketh.¹ He married Mary Caroline Burgoyne, daughter of Colonel Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 9th Bt. and Mary Harriet Gore-Langton, on 1 February 1859.¹ He died on 1 September 1899 at age 74.¹
     He fought in the Crimean War.¹ He fought in the Indian Mutiny.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the 23rd Fusiliers.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He was Inspector-General of the Royal Irish Constabulary between 1882 and 1885.¹

     Olympia Salazar was born in May 1976 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Praed Street, Paddington, London, England^G.¹ She is the daughter of Gonzalo Salazar and Jacqueline Esmée Roughton.¹

     Mary Caroline Burgoyne was the daughter of Colonel Sir John Montagu Burgoyne, 9th Bt. and Mary Harriet Gore-Langton.¹ She married Colonel Robert Bruce, son of Sir James Robertson Bruce, 2nd Bt. and Ellen Hesketh, on 1 February 1859.¹ She died on 16 April 1893.¹
     From 1 February 1859, her married name became Bruce.
