     From 7 December 1940, her married name became MacDougall.1

     W/Cdr. Jeffrey MacDougall was born circa 1911.2 He married Jean Marjorie Steuart Menzies, daughter of Lt.-Col. Ronald Steuart Menzies of Menzies and Olivia Anne Turner-Farley, on 7 December 1940.1 He died on 18 April 1941, killed in action.1
     He fought in the Second World War.1 He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the Royal Air Force.2 He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.)2

John Elphinstone of Glack1

     John Elphinstone of Glack was the son of John Elphinstone of Glack and Anna Irvine.1 He married Margaret Forbes, daughter of Alexander Forbes of Foveran, in 1691.1 He died circa 15 January 1735.2
     On 22 October 1691 he was served heir to his father.1 He was Honorary Burgess of Aberdeen in 1731.1 Burkes Peerage 2003 appears to have skipped this generation completely, but I believe this to be a layout error based on the dates given for each John’s succession to his father, not a correction to eariler editions.
