Charles William Thompson.¹ He married, firstly, Alice Travers, daughter of Robert Travers, on 4 February 1932.² He married, secondly, Margaret Victoria Hemming, daughter of Frank Hemming, on 1 December 1954.¹ He and Alice Travers were divorced.² He died on 16 March 1965.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Commander in the Royal Navy.² Commander.¹

     Frank Hemming lived at Franklyns, Great Waltham, Essex, England^G.¹

     Captain Richard Grenfell Aylmer was born on 11 January 1932.² He is the son of Lt.-Col. Claud Aylmer and Margaret Victoria Hemming.¹ He married Marelyn Joyce Miller, daughter of Sir James Miller, on 11 April 1964.²
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England^G.² He graduated from London University, London, England^G, in 1952 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)² He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.² He lived in 1999 at Cromwell’s House, 17 Mill Lane, Old Marston, Oxfordshire, England^G.²

     Marelyn Joyce Miller is the daughter of Sir James Miller.¹ She married Captain Richard Grenfell Aylmer, son of Lt.-Col. Claud Aylmer and Margaret Victoria Hemming, on 11 April 1964.¹
     From 11 April 1964, her married name became Aylmer.¹

     Christopher James Aylmer was born on 22 May 1966.¹ He is the son of Captain Richard Grenfell Aylmer and Marelyn Joyce Miller.¹ He married Cheryl Janice Perrett, daughter of Clive Perrett, in 1992.¹

     Kenneth Malcolm Aylmer was born on 20 October 1970.¹ He is the son of Captain Richard Grenfell Aylmer and Marelyn Joyce Miller.¹ He married Illona Rebecca Melanie Dixon, daughter of Stephen Dixon, in 1996.¹

     Constance Evelyn Aylmer was born on 12 May 1899.¹ She was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederick Arthur Aylmer and Constance Isabella Grenfell.¹ She died on 15 May 1899.¹

     Henry Riversdale Grenfell was born on 5 April 1824.² He was the son of Charles Pascoe Grenfell and Lady Georgiana Frances Molyneux.² He married Alethea Louisa Maria Adeane, daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley, on 25 July 1867.¹ He died on 11 September 1902 at age 78.¹
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Stoke-upon-Trent between 1862 and 1868.¹ He held the office of Governor of the Bank of England in 1881.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.³ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)³ He lived at Bacres, Henley, Somerset, England^G.³

     Alethea Louisa Maria Adeane was the daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley.¹ She married Henry Riversdale Grenfell, son of Charles Pascoe Grenfell and Lady Georgiana Frances Molyneux, on 25 July 1867.¹ She died on 18 April 1923.¹
     From 25 July 1867, her married name became Grenfell.¹

     Henry John Adeane was born on 18 June 1789.¹ He was the son of Robert Jones Adeane and Annabella Blake.¹ He married, firstly, Catherine Judith King, daughter of John King, on 24 October 1822.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley, daughter of John Thomas Stanley, 1st Baron Stanley of Alderley and Hon. Maria Josepha Holroyd, on 6 October 1828.¹ He died on 11 May 1847 at age 57 at Linton, Cambridgeshire, England.^1,2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cambridgeshire between 1830 and 1832.¹ He lived at Babraham, Cambridgeshire, England^G.¹
