     Lucy Elizabeth Adeane was the daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley.¹ She married Admiral Sir Edward Southwell Sotheby, son of Admiral Thomas Sotheby and Lady Mary Anne Bourke, on 24 June 1864 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 She died on 16 January 1904.¹
     From 24 June 1864, her married name became Sotheby.¹

     Admiral Sir Edward Southwell Sotheby was born on 14 May 1813 at Clifton, Bristol, England.^2,3 He was the son of Admiral Thomas Sotheby and Lady Mary Anne Bourke.³ He married Lucy Elizabeth Adeane, daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley, on 24 June 1864 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England.^1,2 He died on 6 January 1902 at age 88.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was commissioned in 1827, in the service of the Royal Navy.⁴ He fought in the Indian Mutiny between 1856 and 1857.⁴ He lived at Menaifron, Dwyran, Anglesey, Wales.⁵

     Emmeline Augusta Adeane was the daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley.¹ She married Reverend Thomas Erskine, son of Rt. Hon. Thomas Erskine and Henrietta Eliza Trail, on 8 April 1856.¹ She died on 27 November 1930.¹
     From 8 April 1856, her married name became Erskine.¹

     Reverend Thomas Erskine was born on 12 November 1828.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. Thomas Erskine and Henrietta Eliza Trail.² He married Emmeline Augusta Adeane, daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley, on 8 April 1856.¹ He died on 28 February 1878 at age 49.²
     He was the Rector at Alderley, Cheshire, England^G.²

     Isabel Adeane was the daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley.¹ She married Robert Smith, son of Abel Smith and Frances Anne Calvert, on 8 January 1857.¹ She died on 16 September 1913.¹
     From 8 January 1857, her married name became Smith.¹

     Robert Smith was born on 24 April 1833.² He was the son of Abel Smith and Frances Anne Calvert.² He married Isabel Adeane, daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley, on 8 January 1857.¹ He died on 21 October 1894 at age 61.¹
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)³ He lived at Goldings, Hertfordshire, England^G.¹

     Louisa Amabel Adeane was the daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley.¹ She married John Martineau on 31 March 1864.¹ She died on 12 February 1894.¹
     From 31 March 1864, her married name became Martineau.¹

     John Martineau married Louisa Amabel Adeane, daughter of Henry John Adeane and Hon. Matilda Abigail Stanley, on 31 March 1864.¹ He died on 18 December 1910.¹
