Tyrone [I., 1797] on 10 July 1968.3

Her married name became Dresselhuys.1 She was appointed Commander, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (C.St.J.)2 From 30 April 1931, her married name became Berry.1 After her marriage, Edith Merandon du Plessis was styled as Baroness Kemsley on 3 February 1936. After her marriage, Edith Merandon du Plessis was styled as Viscountess Kemsley on 12 September 1945.3 She was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1953.2

He was created 1st Baronet Berry [U.K.] on 25 January 1928.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Glamorgan in 1929.4 He was created 1st Baron Kemsley, of Farnham Royal, co. Buckingham [U.K.] on 3 February 1936.1 He was editor-in-chief of the Sunday Times between 1937 and 1959.1 He was chairman of Kemsley Newspapers Ltd between 1937 and 1959.1 He was awarded the Commander, Order of the Crown of Belgium.1 He was awarded the Grand Cross, Order of Geroge I of Greece.1 He was created 1st Viscount Kemsley, of Dropmore, co. Buckingham [U.K.] on 12 September 1945.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Buckinghamshire.1 He was appointed Knight, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.St.J.)1 He was awarded the Officier, Ordre national de la Légion d’honneur.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1959.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.5
