     He gained the rank of Captain in the 45th Sikhs, Indian Army.¹

     Margaret Emily Peel was the daughter of Laurence Peel.¹ She married Captain Reginald Edward Foley, son of Admiral Hon. FitzGerald Algernon Charles Foley and Frances Campbell, on 12 September 1893.¹ She died on 27 November 1957.¹
     Her married name became Foley.

     Laurence Peel lived at Avonside, Hampshire, England^G.¹

     Commander Lawrence FitzGerald Foley was born on 31 July 1894.¹ He was the son of Captain Reginald Edward Foley and Margaret Emily Peel.¹ He married, firstly, Vera Mabel Johnson, daughter of Colonel C. R. Johnson, on 8 July 1924.¹ He and Vera Mabel Johnson were divorced in 1933.¹ He married, secondly, Beatrice Monica Lloyd, daughter of F. A. Lloyd, on 7 February 1942.¹
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹

     Vera Mabel Johnson is the daughter of Colonel C. R. Johnson.¹ She married Commander Lawrence FitzGerald Foley, son of Captain Reginald Edward Foley and Margaret Emily Peel, on 8 July 1924.¹ She and Commander Lawrence FitzGerald Foley were divorced in 1933.¹
     Her married name became Foley.

     Beatrice Monica Lloyd is the daughter of F. A. Lloyd.¹ She married, firstly, F/Lt. M. Noblston before 1942.¹ She married, secondly, Commander Lawrence FitzGerald Foley, son of Captain Reginald Edward Foley and Margaret Emily Peel, on 7 February 1942.¹
     From before 1942, her married name became Noblston.¹ Her married name became Foley.

     Alex Trench was born in 1987.² He is the son of Richard Hugh Roger Chenevix Trench and Johanna Davis.¹

     Major Guy Francis Foley was born on 27 October 1896.¹ He was the son of Captain Reginald Edward Foley and Margaret Emily Peel.¹ He married Helen Frances Ferguson, daughter of Major Spencer Charles Ferguson and Caroline Agnes Irwin, on 12 September 1928.¹ He died on 13 October 1970 at age 73.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was wounded.¹ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery.¹ He was Director of Stores and Ordnance, Sudan between 1936 and 1943.¹ He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1942.¹ He was Controller-General of War Supply and Director of Economics and Trade between 1943 and 1946.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Nile 4th Class.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1945.¹ He was the Bursar between 1946 and 1957 at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹

     Helen Frances Ferguson was born circa 1909.² She was the daughter of Major Spencer Charles Ferguson and Caroline Agnes Irwin.^1,3 She married Major Guy Francis Foley, son of Captain Reginald Edward Foley and Margaret Emily Peel, on 12 September 1928.¹ She died on 3 December 2004.²
     Her married name became Foley.

     Agnes Ursula Ferguson is the daughter of Major Spencer Charles Ferguson and Caroline Agnes Irwin.¹
