     Thomas Edmund Heygate was born on 3 January 1826.¹ He was the son of James Heygate and Anna Mackmurdo.¹ He married Catherine Lambert, daughter of Daniel Lambert.¹
     He was the Vicar at Sheen, Staffordshire, England^G.¹

     Catherine Lambert is the daughter of Daniel Lambert.¹ She married Thomas Edmund Heygate, son of James Heygate and Anna Mackmurdo.¹
     Her married name became Heygate.¹

     Frances Mary Gillett is the daughter of William Henry Gillett and Amy Ford Little.²

     In 1580 he had charter of lands near Auchtermuchty, Perthshire.¹

     John Gilmour is the son of John Gilmour.²
     He had charter of lands of Lochmalony, Fife.¹

     James Dunlop, 5th of Garnkirk was born in 1741.¹ He was the son of Colin Dunlop of Carmyle and Martha Bogle.¹ He died in 1816.¹

     Sir Alexander Murray of Blackbarony, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Archibald Murray of Blackbarony, 1st Bt. and Margaret Maule.² He married, firstly, Margaret Cockburn, daughter of Sir Richard Cockburn of Clerkington.² He married, secondly, Margaret Murray, daughter of Sir John Murray of Halmyre.² He died between 1667 and 1669.²
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Murray, of Blackbarony, co. Peebles [N.S., 1628] circa 1634.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Peebles-shire between 1639 and 1641.² He was a royalist during the Civil War period.² In 1646 he was fined as a Royalist.² He held the office of Sheriff of Peebles-shire in 1657.²

     Margaret Murray is the daughter of Sir Alexander Murray of Blackbarony, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Cockburn.² She married Sir John Gilmour of Craigmillar, son of John Gilmour.¹
     Her married name became Gilmour.¹

     Sir Alexander Gilmour of Craigmillar, 1st Bt. was baptised in 1657.¹ He was the son of Sir John Gilmour of Craigmillar and Margaret Murray.² He married Grizel Ross, daughter of George Ross, 11th Lord Ross of Halkhead and Lady Grizel Cochrane.¹ He died in October 1731.¹
     He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court in 1672.¹ He was created 1st Baronet Gilmour, of Craigmillar [Nova Scotia] on 1 February 1678.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Edinburgh in 1698.¹ He had nine other children.¹

     Daniel Lambert lived at Banstead, Surrey, England^G.¹
