     From before 1685, her married name became Seton.¹

     Andrew Wauchope of Niddrie married Margaret Gilmour, daughter of Sir John Gilmour of Craigmillar, in 1656.^1,2

     Sir John Gilmour of Craigmillar was baptised in 1605. He was the son of John Gilmour.² He married, thirdly, Margaret Murray, daughter of Sir Alexander Murray of Blackbarony, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Cockburn.² He died on 14 August 1671.^2,3
     He held the office of President of the Court of Session.⁴ He was a practising Adcocate in 1628.² He was appointed Knight in 1650/51.² He purchased Craigmillar Castle in 1660 from Sir George Preston, Bt.⁵ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Edinburgh between 1661 and 1670. He held the office of President of the College of Justice between 1661 and 1670. He lived at Craigmillar, Midlothian, Scotland^G.⁴ He had 18 other children.

     George Seton was born in 1685.¹ He was the son of Sir George Seton of Garleton, 2nd Bt. and Barbara Wauchope.¹ He died on 9 March 1769, unmarried.¹
     He fought in the Battle of Preston on 13 November 1715, where he was captured.¹ In 1716 he was attainted.¹

     John Seton was the son of Sir John Seton of Garleton, 1st Bt. and Isabel Home.¹ He married Frances Neale, daughter of Sir Richard Neale of Pleny.¹ He died in 1715.¹
     He lived at County Durham, England^G.¹

     Frances Neale is the daughter of Sir Richard Neale of Pleny.¹ She married John Seton, son of Sir John Seton of Garleton, 1st Bt. and Isabel Home.¹
     Her married name became Seton.¹

     Ralph Seton was born on 27 June 1702.¹ He was the son of John Seton and Frances Neale.¹ He died on 31 December 1782 at age 80, unmarried.¹

     Lady Susan Montgomerie was the daughter of Alexander Montgomerie, 9th Earl of Eglinton and Susanna Kennedy.¹ She married John Renton of Lamberton.¹ She died on 27 July 1754 at Blackadder, Berwickshire, Scotland^G.²
     Her married name became Renton.¹
