     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Field Artillery.¹ He fought in the First World War.

     Aileen Mary Arthur was born on 3 September 1865.¹ She was the daughter of John Raynor Arthur and Hon. Aileen Spring Rice.¹ She married Sir Henry Charles Miller Lambert, son of Henry Thomas Lambert and Georgina Emily Miller, on 28 September 1892.¹ She died on 10 April 1944 at age 78.¹
     From 28 September 1892, her married name became Lambert.¹

     Sir Henry Charles Miller Lambert was the son of Henry Thomas Lambert and Georgina Emily Miller.¹ He married Aileen Mary Arthur, daughter of John Raynor Arthur and Hon. Aileen Spring Rice, on 28 September 1892.¹ He died on 9 February 1935.¹
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹

     Henry Thomas Lambert was the son of Daniel Lambert. He married Georgina Emily Miller, daughter of Reverend Sir Thomas Combe Miller, 6th Bt. and Martha Holmes, on 3 May 1866.² He died in 1879.²
     He lived at Bletchingley, Surrey, England^G.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹

     Leonora Frances Arthur was born on 22 January 1871.¹ She was the daughter of John Raynor Arthur and Hon. Aileen Spring Rice.¹ She died on 21 November 1956 at age 85, unmarried.¹

     Christina Lucy Arthur was born on 31 December 1875.¹ She was the daughter of John Raynor Arthur and Hon. Aileen Spring Rice.¹ She married Robert Vaughan Johnson, son of Henry Robert Vaughan Johnson and Hon. Cecilia Mina Campbell, on 30 December 1905.¹ She died on 9 March 1962 at age 86.¹
     From 30 December 1905, her married name became Johnson.¹

     Robert Vaughan Johnson was the son of Henry Robert Vaughan Johnson and Hon. Cecilia Mina Campbell.¹ He married Christina Lucy Arthur, daughter of John Raynor Arthur and Hon. Aileen Spring Rice, on 30 December 1905.¹

     Henry Robert Vaughan Johnson was the son of Reverend John Johnson.² He married Hon. Cecilia Mina Campbell, daughter of John Campbell, 1st Baron Campbell of St. Andrews and Mary Elizabeth Scarlett, Baroness Stratheden of Cupar, on 19 July 1862.^3,2 He died on 23 February 1899.¹
     He was a practising Barrister-at-Law.²

     Hon. Cecilia Mina Campbell was born in 1835.² She was the daughter of John Campbell, 1st Baron Campbell of St. Andrews and Mary Elizabeth Scarlett, Baroness Stratheden of Cupar.^1,2 She married Henry Robert Vaughan Johnson, son of Reverend John Johnson, on 19 July 1862.^2,3 She died on 12 June 1928.³
     From 19 July 1862, her married name became Johnson.²

     Isabella Maria Arthur was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. Rt. Hon. Sir George Arthur, 1st Bt. and Eliza Ord Ussher Smith.¹ She married, firstly, Compton Charles Domvile, son of Sir Compton Pocklington Domvile, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Frances Lindsay, on 19 April 1842.¹ She married, secondly, Charles J. Malton on 18 February 1868.¹ She died on 22 July 1891.¹
     From 19 April 1842, her married name became Domvile.¹ From 18 February 1868, her married name became Malton.¹
