Charles Harbord, 6th Baron Suffield 
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.1 He held the office of Groom-in-Waiting in Ordinary to HM Queen Victoria between 1895 and 1901.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1900.1 He was Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1900.1 He was Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.) in 1902.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel and Brevet Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Harbord [G.B., 1746] on 9 April 1914.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baron Suffield, of Suffield, co. Norfolk [G.B., 1786] on 9 April 1914.1 He was Captain, Yeomen of the Guard between 1916 and 1918.1
