     He gained the title of Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha (styled as HH Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.²) He gained the title of Herzog von Sachsen.³ He resigned as Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha.⁴

     Dietmar Hubertus Friedrich Wilhelm Philip Prinz von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha was born on 24 August 1909 at Reinhardsbrunn Castle, Germany.² He was the son of Charles Edward George Albert Leopold Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, 2nd Duke of Albany and Viktoria Adelheid Helene Luise Marie Friederike Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.¹ He died on 26 November 1943 at age 34 at Mosty, Russia^G, killed in action.²
     He gained the title of Prinz Hubertus von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha.² He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1943.²

     Caroline Matilde Ludwige Eleanor Auguste Beatrice Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha was born on 22 June 1912 at Callenberg, Germany^G. She was the daughter of Charles Edward George Albert Leopold Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, 2nd Duke of Albany and Viktoria Adelheid Helene Luise Marie Friederike Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg.¹ She married, firstly, Freidrich Wolfgang Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, son of Hugo Friedrich Aldred Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen and Clementine Gräfin zu Solms-Sonnenwalde, on 14 December 1931 at Veste Coburg^G. She and Freidrich Wolfgang Graf zu Castell-Rüdenhausen were divorced on 2 May 1938 at Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹ She married, secondly, Captain Max Schnirring on 22 June 1938. She married, thirdly, Karl Otto Andree on 21 December 1946. She and Karl Otto Andree were divorced on 10 October 1949.¹ She died on 5 September 1983 at age 71.

He married, firstly, Caroline Matilde Ludwige Eleanor Auguste Beatrice Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, daughter of Charles Edward George Albert Leopold Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, 2nd Duke of Albany and Viktoria Adelheid Helene Luise Marie Friederike Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 14 December 1931 at Veste Coburg^G. He and Caroline Matilde Ludwige Eleanor Auguste Beatrice Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha were divorced on 2 May 1938 at Berlin, Brandenburg, Germany^G.¹ He married, secondly, Elisabeth Gräfin zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, daughter of Casimir Fürst zu Castell-Rüdenhausen and Mechtild Corisande Renira Mary Gräfin Bentinck, on 26 April 1939 at Rudenhausen, Germany^G.      Captain Max Schnirring was born on 20 May 1895 at Stuttgart-Untertorkheim, Baden-Württemburg, Germany. He married Caroline Matilde Ludwige Eleanor Auguste Beatrice Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, daughter of Charles Edward George Albert Leopold Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, 2nd Duke of Albany and Viktoria Adelheid Helene Luise Marie Friederike Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 22 June 1938. He died on 7 July 1944 at age 49 at Stralsund, Germany^G, killed in a flying accident.

     Karl Otto Andree was born on 10 February 1912. He married Caroline Matilde Ludwige Eleanor Auguste Beatrice Prinzessin von Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha, daughter of Charles Edward George Albert Leopold Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, 2nd Duke of Albany and Viktoria Adelheid Helene Luise Marie Friederike Prinzessin zu Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg, on 21 December 1946.
