Thomas Cooke1 
He was given the name of Thomas Trench at birth.1 He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in 1808 in the Royal Horse Artillery.2 He retired from the military in 1818.2 In 1850 his name was legally changed to Thomas Cooke.1 He lived at Millicent, County Kildare, IrelandG.3
