George Grenfell Glyn, 2nd Baron Wolverton 
He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England.1 He was educated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He was partner of Glyn, Mills, Currie & Company, bankers.1 He was chairman of Railway Clearing House.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Shaftesbury between 1857 and 1873.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1873.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Wolverton, of Wolverton, co. Buckingham [U.K., 1869] on 24 July 1873.1 He held the office of Paymaster-General between 1880 and 1885.1 He held the office of Postmaster-General between February 1886 and August 1886.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.2
