     Alexander Reginald Ward was born on 27 February 1915.¹ He is the son of Sir Hon. John Hubert Ward and Jean Templeton Reid.¹ He married, firstly, Ilona Hollos, daughter of Major B. Hollos, on 24 April 1946.¹ He and Ilona Hollos were divorced in 1959.¹ He married, secondly, Zena Moyra Marshall on 10 January 1967.¹ He and Zena Moyra Marshall were divorced in 1969.¹ He married, thirdly, Constance Cluett Sage, daughter of George Bywater Cluett II, after 1969.¹
     Alexander Reginald Ward usually went by his middle name of Reginald.¹ He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Pilot between 1941 and 1946 in the Air Transport Auxiliary.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire between 1941 and 1947.¹

     Margaret Susan Corbett was the daughter of Geoffrey Robert Josceline Corbett.¹ She married Colonel Edward John Sutton Ward, son of Sir Hon. John Hubert Ward and Jean Templeton Reid, on 2 August 1934.¹ She died in 1981.¹
     Her married name became Ward.

     Vice-Admiral Hon. Arthur Charles Strutt was born on 2 October 1878.¹ He was the son of John William Strutt, 3rd Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Evelyn Georgiana Mary Balfour.¹ He married Baroness Irene Blanche Nicolette van Brienen, daughter of Baron Arnoud Nicolaas Justinus van Brienen, in December 1934.¹ He died on 10 February 1973 at age 94, without issue.¹
     He was educated at H.M.S. Britannia, England^G.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1900 in the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in 1913.¹ He was Master of the Fleet, under 1st Earl Beatty between 1916 and 1918.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in 1917.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1928.³ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM King George V between 1928 and 1929.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1929.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1933.¹ He was Commodore of the Convoys between 1940 and 1943.¹ He was Naval Officer-in-Command between 1943 and 1945 at Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, Devon, England^G.¹

     Eileen Patricia Hartigan is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Marcus Michael Hartigan.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Hon. Roderick John Ward, son of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 28 September 1928.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Hon. Roderick John Ward were divorced in 1936.¹
     From 28 September 1928, her married name became Ward.

     Valerie Maud Skelton was the daughter of Robert Jeremiah Skelton.¹ She married, firstly, Lt.-Col. Hon. Roderick John Ward, son of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 11 May 1940.¹ She and Lt.-Col. Hon. Roderick John Ward were divorced in 1947.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Richard Llewellyn Barwick, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Storey Barwick, 2nd Bt. and Gwladys Jessie Thomas, on 26 July 1948.³ She and Sir Richard Llewellyn Barwick, 3rd Bt. were divorced in July 1968.⁴ She married, thirdly, Colonel Walter Lancaster Hey in 1972.⁵ She died on 9 May 1989.³
     She was a film actress.³ Valerie Maud Skelton used the stage-name of Valerie Ward.³ Her married name became Ward. From 26 July 1948, her married name became Barwick.³ From 1972, her married name became Hey.⁵

     Major Percival Cunningham Allan Bridgeman was the son of F. Orlando Bridgeman.¹ He married Lady Gladys Honor Ward, daughter of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 20 February 1923.¹ He and Lady Gladys Honor Ward were divorced in 1932.¹ He died on 23 November 1961.¹
     He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.)¹

     A/Cdre. Constantine Evelyn Benson was the son of Robert Henry Benson.¹ He married Lady Morvyth Lillian Ward, daughter of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 29 June 1921.¹ He died on 20 September 1960.¹
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He gained the rank of Air Commodore in the Royal Auxiliary Air Force.¹

     Pauline Katharine Winn was born on 18 July 1920.² She is the daughter of Hon. Charles John Frederick Winn and Hon. Olive Cecilia Paget.^1,2 She married, firstly, G/Capt. Hon. Edward Frederick Ward, son of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 30 November 1940.¹ She and G/Capt. Hon. Edward Frederick Ward were divorced in 1947.¹ She married, secondly, Norman Frank Butler, son of Paul Butler, on 28 October 1948.² She and Norman Frank Butler were divorced in 1958.² She married, thirdly, Boyd de Brossard on 12 September 1960.²
     Her married name became Ward. From 28 October 1948, her married name became Butler.² From 12 September 1960, her married name became de Brossard.

     Hon. Alathea Gwendoline Alys Mary Fitzalan-Howard was born on 24 November 1923.² She was the daughter of Henry Edmund Fitzalan-Howard, 2nd Viscount FitzAlan of Derwent and Joyce Elizabeth Mary Langdale.^1,2 She married G/Capt. Hon. Edward Frederick Ward, son of William Humble Ward, 2nd Earl of Dudley and Rachel Gurney, on 2 July 1953.¹ She died on 5 March 2001 at age 77 at Milton, Northamptonshire, England^G.³
     Her married name became Ward. She was awarded the Dame, Sovereign Military Order of Malta.²

     William Lea was baptised on 15 May 1722.¹ He was the son of William Lea and Frances Ward.¹ He died circa 26 March 1743, unmarried.¹ He was buried on 29 March 1743.¹
