     John Power, 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore was born in 1599.¹ He was the son of John ‘Og’ Power and Hon. Helen Barry.¹ He married Ruth Pypho, daughter of Robert Pypho.² He died in 1661/62.²
     He succeeded as the 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore, co. Waterford [I., 1535] on 8 August 1607.¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple.¹ On 30 March 1629 he had livery of his father’s lands.² Circa 1630 he became a lunatic.² In 1654 he thereby escaped ‘transplantation.²‘

     Ruth Pypho was the daughter of Robert Pypho.¹ She married John Power, 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore, son of John ‘Og’ Power and Hon. Helen Barry.² She died before 17 June 1642.²
     Her married name became Power.¹

     Robert Pypho lived at St. Mary’s Abbey, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.¹

     David Power was the son of John Power, 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Ruth Pypho.¹ He died on 17 August 1661, unmarried.¹ He was buried at St. Michan’s Church, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland^G.²

     Piers Power was the son of John Power, 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Ruth Pypho.¹ He married Hon. Honora Bourke, daughter of John Bourke, 2nd Lord Bourke, Baron of Brittas and Margaret FitzMaurice.¹ He died between 1 March 1669 and 10 May 1669.¹
     He lived at Killowen, County Waterford, Ireland^G.¹ He was also known as Pierce Powere.²

     Eleanor Power is the daughter of John Power, 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Ruth Pypho.¹ She married Thomas Walsh.¹
     She was also known as Ellen Power.² Her married name became Walsh.¹

     Thomas Walsh married Eleanor Power, daughter of John Power, 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Ruth Pypho.¹
     He lived at Piltown, County Waterford, Ireland^G.²

     Katherine Power was the daughter of John Power, 5th Baron le Power and Coroghmore and Ruth Pypho.¹ She married Sir John FitzGerald in 1658.¹ She died on 22 August 1660.¹
     From 1658, her married name became FitzGerald.¹
