Donough MacCarty, 1st Earl of Clancarty1 
He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cork from 1634 to 1635.2 He was created 1st Baronet MacCarty [Nova Scotia] circa 1638.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Cork from 1639 to 1640.2 He succeeded as the 2nd Viscount Muskerry [I., 1628] on 20 February 1640.2 From 1641 to 1642 he was in arms with the Roman Catholic Irish.2 In June 1651 at Dromagh, IrelandG, he was severely defeated by Lord Broghill.2 He was created 1st Earl of Clancarty, co. Cork [Ireland] on 27 November 1658.4

Sophia Stuart1

Sophia Stuart was the daughter of Hon. Walter Stuart.1 She married Hon. Henry Bulkeley, son of Thomas Bulkeley, 1st Viscount Bulkeley of Cashel and Blanche Coytmore. She died on 12 June 1751.
Her married name became Bulkeley. She also had two sons and two other daugthers.
