Hon. Clara Arundell1

     Hon. Clara Arundell was born in 1620.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Arundell, 1st Baron Arundell of Wardour and Anne Philipson.1 A settlement for the marriage between her and Humphrey Weld was made on 7 July 1638.1
     From 7 July 1638, her married name became Weld.1

General Hon. Thomas Gage1

     General Hon. Thomas Gage was the son of Thomas Gage, 1st Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Benedicta Maria Theresa Hall.2 He married Margaret Kemble, daughter of Peter Kemble and Gertrude Bayard, on 8 December 1758.2 He died on 2 April 1787.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1741.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1745 in the 62nd Foot.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to the Earl of Albemarle in Flanders from 1747 to 1748.2 He gained the rank of Major in 1748 in the 55th Foot.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1751 in the 44th Foot.2 In 1754 he campaigned under Braddock in North America.2 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General before 1759.2 He held the office of Governor of Montreal circa 1760.2 He gained the rank of Major-General in 1761.2 He was Commander-in-Chief of the North America between 1763 and 1772.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 22nd Foot.2 He was Colonel of the 60th Royal American Regiment.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-General in 1770.2 He held the office of Governor in Chief and Captain General for the Massachusetts Bay Province in 1774.2 He was Commander-in-Chief of the North America Forces between 1775 and 1776.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the 17th Dragoons and 11th Dragoons.2 He gained the rank of General in 1782.2 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

Margaret Kemble1

     Margaret Kemble was the daughter of Peter Kemble and Gertrude Bayard.1,2 She married General Hon. Thomas Gage, son of Thomas Gage, 1st Viscount Gage of Castle Island and Benedicta Maria Theresa Hall, on 8 December 1758.3 She died on 9 February 1824.2
     Her married name became Gage.

Maj.-Gen. Henry Gage, 3rd Viscount Gage of Castle Island1

     Maj.-Gen. Henry Gage, 3rd Viscount Gage of Castle Island was born on 4 March 1761.1 He was the son of General Hon. Thomas Gage and Margaret Kemble.1 He married Susannah Maria Skinner, daughter of Lt.-Gen. William Skinner and Susan Warren, on 12 January 1789.1 He died on 29 January 1808 at age 46.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Gage of High Meadow, co. Gloucester [G.B., 1790] on 11 October 1791.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Viscount Gage of Castle Island, co. Kerry [I., 1720] on 11 October 1791.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baron Gage of Castlebar, co. Mayo [I., 1720] on 11 October 1791.1 He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Gage, of Firley, co. Sussex [E., 1622] on 11 October 1791.1 He gained the rank of Major-General.1

     Susannah Maria Skinner was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. William Skinner and Susan Warren.1 She married Maj.-Gen. Henry Gage, 3rd Viscount Gage of Castle Island, son of General Hon. Thomas Gage and Margaret Kemble, on 12 January 1789.1 She died on 9 April 1821.1
     Her married name became Gage.

Humphrey Weld1

     Humphrey Weld was the son of Sir John Weld and Frances Whitmore. A settlement for the marriage between him and Hon. Clara Arundell was made on 7 July 1638.1 He died circa 1684.2

Hon. Letitia Morres1

     Hon. Letitia Morres was the daughter of Hervey Morres, 1st Viscount Mountmorres and Lady Letitia Ponsonby.1 She married, firstly, Hon. Arthur Hill Trevor, son of Arthur Hill-Trevor, 1st Viscount of Dungannon and Anne Stafford, on 27 February 1762.1 She married, secondly, Sir Randal William Mac Donnell, 1st and last Marquess of Antrim, son of Alexander Mac Donnell, 5th Earl of Antrim and Anne Plunkett, on 3 July 1774.1 She died on 7 December 1801 at Grosvenor Square, Mayfair, London, EnglandG, from cancer.1 She died on 7 December 1801.2 She was buried on 14 December 1801 at St. James’s, Westminster, London, EnglandG.1 Her will was proven (by probate) on 21 January 1802, with nine codicils.1
     From 27 February 1762, her married name became Trevor. On 3 July 1774 married 2nd 6th Marquess of Antrim (see ANTRIMale, E.)2 From 3 July 1774, her married name became Mac Donnell.1 After her marriage, Hon. Letitia Morres was styled as Countess of Antrim on 3 July 1774. After her marriage, Hon. Letitia Morres was styled as Marchioness of Antrim on 18 August 1789.

     Sarah Katharine Lindley was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Francis Oswald Lindley and Hon. Etheldreada Mary Fraser.2 She married Philip Grantham Yorke, 9th Earl of Hardwicke, son of Hon. Alfred Ernest Frederick Yorke and Gladys Dunlop Best, on 12 June 1934.1 She died on 8 November 1965.1
     Her married name became Yorke. After her marriage, Sarah Katharine Lindley was styled as Countess of Hardwicke on 1 February 1936.
