He was a member of the House of Wittelsbach.2 He gained the title of Pfalzgraf von der Pfalz. He succeeded as the Herzog von Oberbayern in 1294.2 He was deposed as Duke of Upper Bavaria in 1317.2

From before 1663, her married name became Fletcher. From between 18 October 1663 and 5 January 1664, her married name became Sandilands.
It was she who “carried away the crown of Scotland in her lap, when Dunnottar Castle was about to be surrendered to the English.” For this service, she had a grant from the Estates, 1661, of 1000 marks (i.e. £100.)1
