     David Lindsay, 3rd Earl of Crawford was the son of Alexander Lindsay, 2nd Earl of Crawford and Marjorie Dunbar.² He married Marjory Ogilvy, daughter of Sir Alexander Ogilvy of Auchterhouse, circa March 1422/23.³ He died on 17 January 1445/46 at Finhaven Castle, Angus, Scotland^G, ‘the day twelvemonth since he ravaged St. Andrew’s land in Fife’.³
     He held the office of Hereditary Sheriff of Aberdeenshire.⁴ He was appointed Knight before 17 November 1425.² He held the office of Sheriff of Aberdeenshire.² He succeeded as the 3rd Earl of Crawford [S., 1398] in 1438.²

     Marjory Ogilvy was the daughter of Sir Alexander Ogilvy of Auchterhouse.² She married David Lindsay, 3rd Earl of Crawford, son of Alexander Lindsay, 2nd Earl of Crawford and Marjorie Dunbar, circa March 1422/23.³ She died after 1476.³
     From circa March 1422/23, her married name became Lindsay.⁴ After her marriage, Marjory Ogilvy was styled as Countess of Crawford in 1438.

     Hon. Patrick Lindsay was born on 14 November 1928.¹ He was the son of David Alexander Robert Lindsay, 28th Earl of Crawford and Mary Katherine Cavendish.¹ He married Lady Amabel Mary Maud Yorke, daughter of Philip Grantham Yorke, 9th Earl of Hardwicke and Sarah Katharine Lindley, on 16 December 1955.¹ He died in 1986.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Scots Guards.¹ He was educated at Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was a director of Christies, and head of the Old Masters department.¹

     Lady Amabel Mary Maud Yorke was born on 2 April 1935.² She is the daughter of Philip Grantham Yorke, 9th Earl of Hardwicke and Sarah Katharine Lindley.² She married Hon. Patrick Lindsay, son of David Alexander Robert Lindsay, 28th Earl of Crawford and Mary Katherine Cavendish, on 16 December 1955.¹
     Her married name became Lindsay. She lived in 2003 at 12 Lansdowne Road, London, England^G.¹

     Philip Grantham Yorke, 9th Earl of Hardwicke was born on 9 April 1906.³ He was the son of Hon. Alfred Ernest Frederick Yorke and Gladys Dunlop Best.³ He married, firstly, Sarah Katharine Lindley, daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir Francis Oswald Lindley and Hon. Etheldreada Mary Fraser, on 12 June 1934.³ He married, secondly, Enid Grunwald, daughter of Pieter Grunwald, on 27 April 1970.⁴ He died on 31 December 1974 at age 68.³
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.³ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Life Guards.³ He succeeded as the 9th Baron Hardwicke, of Hardwicke, co. Gloucester [G.B., 1733] on 1 February 1936.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Viscount Royston, co. Cambridge [G.B., 1754] on 1 February 1936.³ He succeeded as the 9th Earl of Hardwicke [G.B., 1754] on 1 February 1936.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Artillery, AAC.³

     Anthony Robert Lindsay, 30th Earl of Crawford was born on 24 November 1958.² He is the son of Robert Alexander Lindsay, 29th Earl of Crawford and Ruth Beatrice Meyer-Bechtler.² He married Nicola A. Bicket, daughter of Captain Antony Neilson Bicket, on 12 August 1989.¹
     He gained the title of Master of Lindsay. He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He was styled as Baron Balniel on 24 January 1975. He was educated at University of Edinburgh, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.² He was a director of J. O. Hambro Investment Management in 1987.¹ He succeeded as the 13th Earl of Balcarres, [S., 1651] on 18 March 2023. He succeeded as the 30th Earl of Crawford [S., 1398] on 18 March 2023. He succeeded as the 13th Lord Lindsay and Balneil [S., 1651] on 18 March 2023. He succeeded as the 7th Baron Wigan of Haigh Hall, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1826] on 18 March 2023. He succeeded as the 14th Lord Lindsay of Balcarres [S., 1633] on 18 March 2023.

     Hon. Alexander Walter Lindsay was born on 18 March 1961.¹ He is the son of Robert Alexander Lindsay, 29th Earl of Crawford and Ruth Beatrice Meyer-Bechtler.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was Endure Pursuivant to the Earl of Crawford.¹ He lived in 2003 at Neckinger Mills, 162 Abbey Street, London, England^G.¹

     Lady Bettina Mary Lindsay was born on 26 June 1950.¹ She is the daughter of Robert Alexander Lindsay, 29th Earl of Crawford and Ruth Beatrice Meyer-Bechtler.¹ She married Peter Charles Drummond-Hay, son of John Waldo Edward Hay-Drummond-Hay and Anne Rachel Prideaux, in 1975.¹
     From 1975, her married name became Drummond-Hay.¹ She lived in 2003 at 86 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton, Connecticut, U.S.A.^G.¹

     Lady Iona Sina Lindsay was born on 10 August 1957.¹ She is the daughter of Robert Alexander Lindsay, 29th Earl of Crawford and Ruth Beatrice Meyer-Bechtler.¹ She married Charles Gerard Mackworth-Young, son of S/Ldr. Sir Robert Christopher Mackworth-Young and Helen Editha Rosemarie Aue, on 28 June 1983.²
     From 28 June 1983, her married name became Mackworth-Young. She lived in 2003 at 18 The Chase, London, England^G.¹

     Alexander Ludovic Lindsay was born on 16 September 1957.¹ He is the son of Hon. Patrick Lindsay and Lady Amabel Mary Maud Yorke.¹ He married Lucy Davenhill, daughter of Richard Davenhill, on 10 December 1994.¹
     Alexander Ludovic Lindsay usually went by his middle name of Ludovic.¹
