Peerage Record – 1795

     Edward Donough O’Brien, 14th Baron of Inchiquin was born on 14 May 1839.³ He was the son of Lucius O’Brien, 13th Baron of Inchiquin and Mary FitzGerald. He married, firstly, Hon. Emily Holmes à Court, daughter of William Henry Ashe Holmes à Court, 2nd Baron Heytesbury of Heytesbury and Elizabeth Worsley-Holmes, on 21 August 1862.⁴ He married, secondly, Hon. Ellen Harriet White, daughter of Luke White, 2nd Baron Annaly of Annaly and Rathcline and Emily Stuart, on 29 January 1874.⁵ He died on 9 April 1900 at age 60.
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)³ He held the office of High Sheriff of County Clare in 1862.³ He succeeded as the 14th Baron of Inchiquin [I., 1543] on 22 March 1872.³ He succeeded as the 6th Baronet O’Brien, of Lemeneagh and Dromoland, co. Clare [I., 1686] on 22 March 1872.⁴ He was appointed Representative Peer [Ireland] between 1873 and 1900.³ He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Clare between 1879 and 1900.³ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 7th Brigade South Irish Division, Royal Artillery.³ He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) in 1892.³

     Elizabeth Vera Catherine Alice de Beaumont was born on 6 March 1898.² She was the daughter of Louis Leopold Martial Baynard de Beaumont and Hon. Kathleen Mary O’Hagan.^1,2 She married Major Hon. Richard Coke, son of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Georgina Caroline Cavendish, on 19 July 1932.¹ She died in 1988.²
     Her married name became Coke.

     Hon. Henry Robert Hepburne-Scott was born on 6 January 1847.² He was the son of Henry Francis Hepburne-Scott, 7th Lord Polwarth and Lady Georgina Baillie.¹ He married Lady Ada Home, daughter of Cospatrick Alexander Home, 11th Earl of Home and Hon. Lucy Elizabeth Montagu-Scott, on 10 April 1880.² He died on 4 March 1914 at age 67.¹
     He gained the rank of Captain in the East Lothian Yeomanry Cavalry.² He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)² He was a practising barrister.²

     Sarah Victoria Dayas Coke was born on 4 September 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Henry Francis Coke and Marie Christina Rosalind McCrone.¹

     Sophie Robina Axford is the daughter of Robin Arthur Axford.¹ She married Robert Arbuthnott, son of Archibald Arbuthnott and Barbara Joan Worters, on 19 May 1962.¹
     Sophie Robina Axford usually went by her middle name of Robina.¹ From 19 May 1962, her married name became Arbuthnott.¹

     Hon. Dorothy Olive Levy-Lawson was born on 26 January 1885.¹ She was the daughter of Harry Lawson Webster Levy-Lawson, 1st and last Viscount Burnham and Olive de Bathe.¹ She married Major Hon. Sir John Spencer Coke, son of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Georgina Caroline Cavendish, on 15 January 1907.¹ She died on 22 December 1937 at age 52.¹
     From 15 January 1907, her married name became Coke.

     Harry Lawson Webster Levy-Lawson, 1st and last Viscount Burnham was born on 18 December 1862 at St. Pancras, London, England^G.² He was the son of Edward Levy-Lawson, 1st Baron Burnham and Harriette Georgiana Webster.¹ He married Olive de Bathe, daughter of General Sir Gerald Henry Perceval de Bathe, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Clare, on 2 January 1884 at St. Margaret’s Church, Westminster, London, England^G.² He died on 20 July 1933 at age 70, without surviving male issue.¹ He was buried on 24 July 1933 at Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, England^G.³
     He was given the name of Harry Lawson Webster Levy at birth.¹ He was educated between 1874 and 1876 at Cheam School, Headley, Berkshire, England^G.² On 11 December 1875 his name was legally changed to Harry Lawson Webster Levy-Lawson.¹ He was educated between 1876 and 1881 at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for West St. Pancras between 1885 and 1892.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, in 1888 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1891 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Cirencester between 1893 and 1895.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mile End between 1905 and 1906.¹ He held the office of Mayor of Stepney between 1907 and 1909.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Mile End between 1910 and 1916.¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Buckinghamsire Yeomanry.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Levy-Lawson, of Hall Barn, Beaconsfield, co. Bucks [U.K., 1892] on 9 January 1916.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Burnham, of Hall Barn, Beaconsfield, co.      Katharine Ryder was born on 16 January 1899.¹ She was the daughter of Hon. Edward Alan Dudley Ryder and Lady Mary Maud Anson.¹ She married Captain Hon. Reginald Coke, son of Thomas William Coke, 2nd Earl of Leicester of Holkham and Hon. Georgina Caroline Cavendish, on 17 July 1924.¹ She died in November 1977 at age 78.¹
     Her married name became Coke.

     Robin Arthur Axford lived at Burlington Gardens^G.¹

     James Luddington was born in 1821 at Littleport, Cambridgeshire, England^G.² He was the son of James Luddington and Anne Cole.³ He married Augusta Little. He died in 1884.³
