     Hon. Muriel Strutt was born on 30 October 1890 at Kingston on Soar, Nottinghamshire, England.^1,2 She was the daughter of Henry Strutt, 2nd Baron Belper and Lady Margaret Coke.¹ She married Major Frank Haultain Hornsby, son of Lt.-Col. Henry Francis Hornsby, on 30 November 1916.¹ She died on 8 August 1976 at age 85 at Braintree, Essex, England.^1,2
     Her married name became Hornsby. She gained the rank of Senior Commandant in the Auxiliary Territorial Service.¹

     Major Frank Haultain Hornsby was the son of Lt.-Col. Henry Francis Hornsby.² He married Hon. Muriel Strutt, daughter of Henry Strutt, 2nd Baron Belper and Lady Margaret Coke, on 30 November 1916.² He died on 22 May 1935.²
