     Arthur Saunders William Charles Fox Gore, 5th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands was born on 6 January 1839 at Bath, Somerset, England^G.¹ He was the son of Philip Yorke Gore, 4th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands and Elizabeth Marianne Napier.¹ He married, firstly, Lady Edith Elizabeth Henrietta Jocelyn, daughter of Robert Jocelyn, Viscount Jocelyn and Lady Frances Elizabeth Cowper, on 21 February 1865.¹ He married, secondly, Winifred Ellen Reilly, daughter of John Reilly and Hon. Augusta Sudgen, on 29 July 1889 at Royal Chapel, Cumberland Lodge, Windsor Park, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He died on 14 March 1901 at age 62 at 16 Hertford Street, Mayfair, London, England^G.¹ He was buried on 19 March 1901 at Windsor Cemetery, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ His will was proven (by probate) in May 1901, at gross of £44,800, net £36,700.¹

     Brig.-Gen. Sir Berkeley Vincent was born on 4 December 1871. He was the son of Colonel Arthur Hare Vincent and Elizabeth Rose Manson.^1,3 He married, firstly, Lady Kitty Edith Blanche Ogilvy, daughter of Lt.-Col. David Stanley William Ogilvy, 10th Earl of Airlie and Lady Mabell Frances Elizabeth Gore, on 18 September 1906.¹ He and Lady Kitty Edith Blanche Ogilvy were divorced in 1925.¹ He married, secondly, Ellaline Bramley-Moore on 14 November 1925. He died on 29 January 1963 at age 91.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1910.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Field Artillery.³ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)¹

     Colonel Arthur Hare Vincent was born on 19 February 1840.² He was the son of Berkeley Vincent and Helena Hare.³ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Rose Manson, daughter of David Davidson Manson, on 1 February 1871.² He married, secondly, Gertrude Mary Baxendale, daughter of Richard Birley Baxendale, on 1 December 1883.²
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the 3rd Hussars.¹ He lived at Summerhill, County Clare, Ireland^G.¹

     Lt.-Col. Ralph Gerald Ritson was the son of Utrick Alexander Ritson.¹ He married Lady Kitty Edith Blanche Ogilvy, daughter of Lt.-Col. David Stanley William Ogilvy, 10th Earl of Airlie and Lady Mabell Frances Elizabeth Gore, on 1 June 1926.¹ He died on 25 October 1966.¹

     Sir Philip Lancaster Brocklehurst, 1st Bt. was born on 12 October 1827.² He was the son of John Brocklehurst and Mary Coare. He married Annie Lee Dewhurst, daughter of Samuel Dewhurst and Anne Ainsworth Lee, on 23 October 1884.² He died on 10 May 1904 at age 76.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Cheshire.² He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)² He was created 1st Baronet Brocklehurst, of Swythamley Park, Leek, Staffordshire [U.K.] on 27 August 1903.³
