Mayo [I., 1662] on 25 June 1884.1 He succeeded as the 5th Viscount Sudley of Castle Gore, co. Mayo [I., 1758] on 25 June 1884.1 He succeeded as the 5th Earl of Arran of the Arran Islands, co. Galway [I., 1762] on 25 June 1884.1 He succeeded as the 5th Baron Saunders of Deeps, co. Wexford [I., 1758] on 25 June 1884.1 He was created 1st Baron Sudley of Castle Gore [U.K.] on 7 November 1884.1 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of County Mayo between 1889 and 1901.1 He was appointed Knight, Order of St. Patrick (K.P.) on 15 March 1898.1

Brig.-Gen. Sir Berkeley Vincent was born on 4 December 1871. He was the son of Colonel Arthur Hare Vincent and Elizabeth Rose Manson.1,3 He married, firstly, Lady Kitty Edith Blanche Ogilvy, daughter of Lt.-Col. David Stanley William Ogilvy, 10th Earl of Airlie and Lady Mabell Frances Elizabeth Gore, on 18 September 1906.1 He and Lady Kitty Edith Blanche Ogilvy were divorced in 1925.1 He married, secondly, Ellaline Bramley-Moore on 14 November 1925. He died on 29 January 1963 at age 91.1
He gained the rank of Major in the 6th Inniskilling Dragoons.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1910.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Field Artillery.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.)1
